Enrique not touring with Britney after all

By Amy | March 29th, 2011

In a seemingly swift change of plans, the Britney Spears / Enrique Iglesias concert tour that was just announced this morning has been… well… unannounced. Looks like Britney will still be touring, but without Enrique. Everyone’s guess is as good as ours as to what happened, but we look forward to finding out!

Top sellers for the week

By Amy | March 23rd, 2011

Who’s hot, and who’s not? Well, if they’re hot, they’re at the top of the ticket sales list, and if they’re not… well… then they’re not. And this week, the number one spot among sports, concert and theater events combined is… Wicked! Really, no drum roll was needed there, since Wicked’s held that spot for a very long time now. (Have you seen it yet? If not, why not?)

Following up Wicked is another predictable name, Elton John, followed by Jimmy Buffett, Bob Seger and Celine Dion. Surprised? Shouldn’t be. But what about The Book of Mormon on Broadway? Or War Horse, another Broadway hit?

Well, no matter what’s on the top of your list (or whether it’s on anyone else’s top list), we’ve got the seats you’re looking for at Coast to Coast!

Want to do something to help those affected by the earthquake? There are several trusted ways to help, including donating to the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Convoy of Hope and GlobalGiving.org, among others. Check out this Time Magazine article with details on each of those options.

Or if you’re a Lady Gaga fan and want to help her raise money for earthquake and tsunami relief, you can buy the Lady Gaga Japan Earthquake Relief Wristband for $5.00, and add any amount on top of that you choose, up to $100, with all proceeds going to disaster relief.

You’ve got three years to catch Celine in Vegas, starting… now.

By Amy | March 2nd, 2011

If you’re like many people, you’ve heard the name Celine Dion for decades – and for good reason. She’s been one of the most easily recognized voices in show business for years. And starting on March 15, 2011, she’s about to kick off her newest run in Las Vegas, with three-year engagement at the Roman Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace – the very same place that was initially built to host her hit show “A New Day” in 2003!

“I’m coming back home to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace,” says Celine, “and I’m very excited about it. With the orchestra and the band we’re going to be able to perform our songs like never before.  The repertoire is going to be extraordinary, a mix of timeless hit songs made famous by some incredible artists, along with all the favorites my fans like to hear me sing.  It’s going to be a very beautiful show and I think we’ll be raising the bar higher than we’ve ever done before.  There’ll be some truly wonderful moments.  I can’t wait!”
