While many all over the country are gearing up for the holiday season to begin, there is much more than turkey to be thankful for this week for music fans. This week has marked the announcement of many big name tours that will be hitting the road beginning in 2013. Among these tour announcements was reveal that Nelly Furtado would be hitting to road beginning in 2013 for her Canadian tour. The tour called The Spirit Indestructible Tour will begin January 2013. However, very few announcements could top the announcement from legendary rock band Bon Jovi. The current 2013 tour has the band touring through Canada, and many American fans feared the worse that the band would not add United States dates to their tour. However on Wednesday the band released an official statement that beginning on February 9, 2013 the group would also be visiting stadiums in the United States. The US leg of the tour will begin in Uncasville, CT and will end in the band’s home state of New Jersey.
The tour marks the first time the band has performed together since 2010 and the tour will feature music from their first album in more than two years. The first set of tickets for the United States leg of the tour will officially go on sale beginning on November 30, 2012. Fans will want to act quickly to get tickets, if the Canadian ticket sales were any indication of how the United States ticket sales will be then many of these large arenas will sell out when the rock group comes to town.
