Recent announcements from the music world have revealed a number of big, exciting concert events that will be taking place in 2013 and that are sure to delight music fans of all types.

One of the biggest announcements came from one of the biggest music legends in the history of rock: Eric Clapton. The guitarist revealed earlier this month that he would be taking part in a major United States tour in 2013. The concert is set to kick off on March 14, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona at the US Airways Center. The concert will go on to include 15 different cities across the United States. Tickets are currently on sale for all concert events on this upcoming tour.

In addition to the Eric Clapton announcement, another rock legend, Jon Bon Jovi announced that he and his band, Bon Jovi would also be taking part in a 2013 tour. This live tour event will be taking the rock legends across the United States in their “Because We Can Tour” the concert will bring the band up close and personal with fans from all over the country and will be taking place throughout the spring of 2013. Tickets are currently available for most city stops on this nation-wide tour.

The rock world was also treated to a concert announcement from the Dave Matthews Band; one of the most popular live rock performance groups over the past few decades. The group, which is known for touring usually only exclusively in the summer currently has tickets on sale for their winter tour, which will keep them on the road until the spring of 2013; those who  want to see this band live will want to act fast in getting their tickets before the tour concludes.

Finally, the country world was also treated to big concert announcements from two of the princesses of country music; Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. Carrie Underwood revealed earlier this month that she would be adding dates to her “Blown Away” tour due to the popularity of the tour and that she will be staying on the road throughout 2013. The second leg of this tour kicks off after the holidays and tickets are currently on sale.
