Theatre fans were delivered a number of exciting announcements this year, beginning with the announcement from The Old Globe theatre in San Diego, California. While there have been a number of exciting Broadway announcements, this California theatre revealed that a new staging of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion. This new production will be starring Tony Award winning actor Robert Sean Leonard and will officially take the stage beginning January 12th. Those who are looking to see the event live can get their seats now as tickets are available to the public.

Meanwhile, Canadian singer and songwriter Leonard Cohen made an announcement of his own when the iconic performer revealed this week that he will be adding a second leg to his current world tour and even more opportunities for fans to see him live. The tour, known as the “Old Ideas World Tour” will travel to North America in the spring. Tickets for these tour events and for the newly announced shows in this tour are on sale and available to the public now.

Other big tour announcements from this week came from the Electro-pop group, Crystal Castles. The duo has announced that they will be heading out on a North American tour this spring. After finishing up the European leg of their tour in March the North American leg of the tour will be getting underway on April 17th in Atlanta, Georgia. The tour will keep the group on the road throughout most of the year. Those looking to get tickets to see this event live can now find tickets for the spring leg of this tour.

Finally, one of the biggest music announcements of the week came from one of the most legendary performers in the world of music. The Grammy-award winning guitarist; Santana revealed that before returning to the Vegas stage later in the month for his long-standing residency in Sin City; the guitarist will be traveling to several international venues for shows throughout the month. Stops will be in Asia, Australia, Hawaii and New Zealand. Tickets to these events are now on sale and available to the public. Those who are looking to see the performer in Las Vegas will also have an opportunity to get tickets to the Santana Las Vegas show at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues from now until the stay ends in early June.
