By David Jacobs | February 3rd, 2013

Recent ticket information was released this week revealing that tickets for Super Bowl 47, which will be held this week on Sunday February 3rd, have decreased drastically and that tickets for the annual event have not yet sold out. With ticket prices on the secondary market decreasing as well there are still plenty of opportunities for football fans and supporters of either team to get in on the action and get their Super Bowl tickets for the big game. Tickets are still on sale and available to the public now and are being offered for lower prices than they were when tickets were first revealed. Those who are looking to get these discounted Super Bowl tickets will want to act fast before the big game takes place.

In other entertainment news, the latest solo play from acclaimed entertainer Martin Moran will be kicking off this week. The off-Broadway play; titled “All the Rage,” will be opening on January 30th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The performer; who has had a slew of other wildly popular solo plays has been promising fans that this play will be a unique departure from his earlier works. Tickets for the event have already been selling fast and tickets for upcoming performances are on sale now and available to the public.

Finally, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from one of the biggest music festivals in the industry, the Electric Daisy Carnival. Put on by Insomniac Events, the annual event had some of the biggest music festival numbers of its kind last year when it took place in New York City. Insomniac Events announced that the festival will return to New York City this year and that it will take place on May 17th and 18th at Citi Field. With more than 45,000 fans attending the festival each day last year; supporters are expecting huge crowds again for this music festival. Although the official line up has yet to be announced, fans can expect some of the biggest names in electronic music to attend the event. Tickets will be sold by either two day general admission passes or single day tickets. There will also be VIP tickets available for fans as well. Tickets will go on sale for the festival on February 8th.
