With spring right around the corner, it means that its once again the time of year for music festival tickets to go on sale. This week three of the biggest music festivals announced their ticket sales and it was revealed that some of the biggest acts in music will once again be heading to these all day festivals this summer. One of the first announcements for late spring music festivals came from the Sweetlife Festival. This annual music festival is held at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD every year and this year will take place on May 11th. Headliners of the event include Passion Hit, Solange, the Yeah Yeah Teahs and Kendrick Lamar. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, February 8th to the public.

Another big music festival announcement came from down south at the Shaky Knees Music Festival. This annual Atlanta music festival will be taking place May 4-5 and the official line up will be featuring acts such as Gary Clark Jr. and the wildly popular band The Lumineers. Tickets for the annual event will be going on sale February 7th. Fans will be able to buy two day passes to the event which will give them access to all three concert stages and all of the festival activities.

Later on in the month of May, The Lumineers will also be playing at the Sasquatch Music Festival. This Memorial Day weekend music festival will last for four days and is held at the world renowned Gorge in Quincy, Washington. In addition to hosting The Lumineers the festival will also be hosting groups such as the Postal Service, Vampire Weekend, Mumford and Sons, and Dropkick Murphy’s. Ticket will go on sale later in the month; but fans will want to make sure they act fast as this annual music festival is known for selling out. Will you be getting tickets to see this year’s festival?
