This week it was revealed that several big name rockers would be hitting the road for new live music events that are sure to have rockers of all types on the edges of their seat. First, new concert tour events were added to the current co-headlining rock tour that features 3 Doors Down and Daughtry. The bands are currently on the road performing a successful run of concerts, and due to popular demand, they will be extending their tour to include even more shows. The concert began in 2012 and after a small break the bands will be back on the road beginning on July 5th. With several new dates added to the show fans will have even more opportunities to see this band perform live. Tickets for the newly added shows are now available to the public.
In other news, the rock band Furthur, which features former Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, has announced a new fall tour around the country. After completing an April residency the band will head out on the road on May 9th and wrap up the show in October at the Greek Theatre in LA tickets for the concert tour event are on sale now.
Finally, one of the biggest rock announcements of the week came from the group the Black Crowes. The veteran rockers will be joining fellow rock group Tedeschi Trucks for a new concert tour event. The bands will come together to co-headline a new summer tour that will also feature opening act The London Souls. The Black Crowes will come straight off of their own headlining tour to join this “Summer Tour of Outdoor Venues” as the name suggests, the band will only be visiting outdoor concert venues with a trek that will begin July 19th in Nashville TN. The tour will keep the band on the road throughout the rest of the summer, wrapping up on August 15th. Tickets are on sale now for this tour. Will you be getting yours to see these bands play live?
