This week one of the biggest announcements for music fans came regarding an event that is not set to take place for at least another year. This is because the wildly popular music festival, Coachella has made an announcement about their 2014 concert festival dates. Even though this year’s festival just finished last month, the team behind the event is already revealing new insight on the 2014 production. Just as it did this year, the 2014 Coachella concert will take place over two back-to-back weekends. The company has announced that the first weekend will be on April 11th-13th and the the second weekend will be April 18th-20th. Advanced tickets for the event will go on sale May 24th at 10:00 AM. This year there are also payment plans being offered for those who need assistance covering the cost of the tickets. As with other years, these Coachella tickets are expected to sell out fast so music fans looking to see all of the action live will want to act quickly to get spots for next year’s festivities.
While the Coachella announcement will have fans awaiting next year’s festivities, another announcement was revealed this week that has fans excited about music events for this summer. This is because one of the most successful boy-bands of all time, the Backstreet Boys have made a major announcement regarding their upcoming tour schedule. The group revealed that they will be hitting the road this summer for an all new event in their North American tour called the “In a World Like This Tour.” The band’s tour will kick off on August 2nd in Chicago and will keep the group on the road until September 8th when the event closes in California. During this North America trek the band will visit 24 different cities and some of the biggest venues in the entire country. During the tour, the band will have support from opening acts Jesse McCartney and Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
