This week, many have already expressed their excitement regarding the beginning of the 2013 NBA finals. The finals will kick off this Thursday June 6th in Miami, and there will be at least four games in the series, between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, that will all take place in either Miami or San Antonio. Tickets for all of the games in the series are currently on sale. However, these aren’t the only big professional sports games being played this week. On June 6th, the nation will watch as game three unfolds in the epic battle between the Boston Bruins and the Pittsburgh Penguins for the Eastern Conference championship. This is one of the biggest games in the series that will determine who from the Eastern Conference will make it to the Stanley Cup finals. Tickets for this game and all of the playoff games in the NHL are on sale and now available to the public, for those who want to get in on all of the live hockey action.
While many sports fans have been enamored with the current finals play, music fans have also been dealt a treat of their own, now that the Lumineers have made a major announcement about their upcoming tour plans. The award winning band just revealed that they will be extending their current summer tour to last far into October. The band will be adding a list of additional concert appearances to their tour after an overwhelmingly positive response from fans over the first round of ticket sales. The band has added 24 shows in 19 different cities in North America alone to the tour. They are also adding shows in the United Kingdom as well as appearances at big name festivals such as Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza to their lineup as well.
