This week, the reggae rock group known as Pepper just revealed that they have new plans in place to head out on a new fall tour event. The new tour will feature some of the group’s most popular hits as well as some of their latest songs all performed live. During this tour, the group will make 35 different stops to major markets across the country. The tour will start on September 3rd and will keep the group on the road throughout most of the fall. During this event, the group will be making stops in cities like Atlanta, Boston and Chicago and before they hit the road they will be performing a special three day concert event at the X-Games in Los Angeles on August 2nd.
In other live music news, reports about the official lineup for the 29th annual Farm Aid music festival came out. This year will be the 28th annual Farm Aid event and the organizers behind the event have just revealed that Kacey Musgraves and Jack Johnson will not be appearing at the annual music event. Other performers for the event include other big acts like Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, Willie nelson and Neil Young. The event will be taking place on September 21st in Saratoga Springs, NY and the event will once again raise money to raise awareness about the loss of family farms and will help raise money to help these individuals keep their farms.
Finally, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the hit rappers Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The two rappers have already announced plans for their upcoming tour event known as “The Heist,” and now due to the overwhelming popularity of this event, the duo is adding new dates to this tour event. This will be the second round of North American dates for the two. This event will be in support of the two’s chart topping album. The duo is adding 29 additional tour stops to their schedule. This second round of tours will kick off on October 22nd in Portland, Oregon and keep the two on the road throughout November 12th.
