This week, there were several big announcements about the upcoming tour schedules of some of today’s biggest groups and bands. One of the first announcements of the week came from the iconic rock band, Mannheim Steamroller. The band, which has become famous around the world for playing concerts through the holiday season, has just revealed plans for their 28th annual Christmas tour. Even though the holiday season is still months away, the band has rolled out their plans for an extensive annual Christmas tour event. The band has revealed that this latest event will include stops in 80 different cities, and as in years past, the tour will be divided into two different touring companies. Tickets for the tour event which will kick off in November of this year are now on sale and available to the public. The tour kick off tour events will take place on November 12th in Pueblo, Colorado and on November 13th in Williamsport, PA. Tickets are on sale now.
However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the iconic, classic rockers Journey. The band has come forward revealing that they have planning a new later-summer tour. This tour event will include festival and fair appearances along with massive arena and amphitheater shows. According to an announcement form the band, the Grammy-nominated act will be kicking this tour off in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 19th. During this jaunt, they will be visiting 16 additional major markets on an outing that is set to last for six weeks. During the event, there will also be stops in Canada as well as the United States. The Who will wrap up on September 1st.
During this tour event, Journey will be performing some of their biggest classic hits to date as well as a selection of new songs from their latest album known as “Eclipse” this album is the band’s 14th studio album. Other major stops on the event include shows in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Hershey, PA.
