Lady Gaga and Sting News

This week a major announcement came from Grammy award winning artist Lady Gaga. The over-the-top performer announced she will be returning to the stage this fall for live performances after spending the last several months recovering from her hip surgery. According to a new announcement, the singer is scheduled to make her first appearance at the London Roadhouse this September. This will be a performance as part of the upcoming iTunes Festival which will be bringing fans 30 nights of free music performances.

This highly anticipated album has had fans in speculation for months and during her new performances, supporters of the artist will be able to hear a sampling of the new tracks featured on the album. More details about Lady Gaga’s return to the spotlight after her hiatus will be revealed shortly.

This week, a major announcement from the team at the Arise music festival has had many excited for the first ever Colorado music event. According to an announcement this inaugural event will be taking place this August and the lineup for the event will feature performances from more than 100 different artists. The event is slated to take place over a three day period and will be kicking off on August 14th in Loveland, Colorado at the Sunrise Ranch. According to the announcement Michael Franti & Spearhead will be headlining the event, and the festival will also include appearances from artists such as Keller and the Keels, Xaiver Rudd, Zap Mama and more. Tickets and weekend long passes to see all of the action live are on sale and available to the public now.

Pearl Jam Announces Plans for New Fall Tour of North America

For decades, Pearl Jam has been known as one of the elite rock bands in the entire world, with a longstanding career that any in the industry would envy. A few weeks ago the rockers took to their website at PearlJam.com to reveal a countdown clock, and while there was no information about what it was that the mysterious clock was counting down for, fans of the band waiting in anticipation to see what it was that the countdown was actually counting down for. On July 8th, when the countdown reached ‘0’ fans were treated with some major news from the rockers; that they would be heading out on a brand new, long awaited tour to promote their latest work.


The band revealed to the public that they will be heading out on a 24-date, two-leg tour that will take them across North America. The tour is slated to kick off on October 11th in Pittsburgh, PA and it will culminate on December 6th in Seattle, Washington. Other big cities that the band will be visiting during the event include a two night stay in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center and stops in Philadelphia, Charlotte, San Diego, Los Angeles and Dallas. According to an announcement from the band, tickets for these events will go on sale to the public on July 27th at 10:00 a.m.

This week there were several big announcements revealed about some of the biggest rock and roll bands of our time. One of the first announcements came from the hit band 30 Seconds to Mars. The group made an announcement about an upcoming event that will take the band, along with lead singer Jared Leto to visit fans from all over the country. The heavy rockers revealed that they will be heading out on a new North American tour event that will bring them up close and personal with their fans. The tour will be known as the “Love Lust Faith and Dreams” event and it will be in support of their album of the same name.

Per the announcement, the band has revealed the destinations for eight of their stops. The tour will officially be kicking off in Atlanta, Georgia of September 27th, and from there the band will be visiting several destinations in the United States and Canada before they wrap up their tour in Los Angeles, California on October 12th. This will be the first time the band has toured together since 2011 in North America. Tickets for the event go on sale to the public on July 12th for those who want to see this band perform live.

This week, new information about some of the biggest Broadway shows in the upcoming season was announced. One of the biggest announcements of the week came when it was revealed that a new version of the Guthrie Theatre’s production of Pride and Prejudice would be hitting the stage in a new production. This production will be adapted for the stage by Simon Reade and it will feature big name performers such as Vincent Karthesier and Ashley Rose Montondo in the leading roles. Previews for the production will begin on July 6th. Tickets are on sale now to the public.

In other big production news, a new Broadway production known as First Date, is set to premier next week. The show will begin its performances on July 9th at the Lonacre Theatre. The show will feature performers such as Zachary Levi who will be debuting on the Broadway stage for the first time, as well as star Krysta Rodriquez from the television show “Smash” in the leading roles. The two will be playing a couple who is set up on their first date. Other big name performers include Sara Chase, Kristoffer Cusick and Black Hammond. Tickets are on sale now for those who want to see the production when it premiers on the stage on July 9th.

This week, the multi-talented performer Johnny Lang revealed that he will be heading out on the road for a new concert tour event. The established blues singer has just announced that he will be heading out on the road for a new North American and European tour that will be supporting his latest album known as “Fight for My Soul.” During this concert event, fans of the performer can hear some of the artist’s biggest hits from his career, as well as some new singles from the Grammy award winner’s latest album. This tour event is kicking off this week in Muskegon, Wisconsin on July 5th. The tour will keep the performer on the road throughout September 27th, until the performer wraps his concert event up in Glenside, PA. After that, the singer will head to Europe for a second, short leg of the tour. Tickets to see the famed singer and guitarist are on sale and available to the public now.

Mannheim Steamroller Tour and Journey Tour

This week, there were several big announcements about the upcoming tour schedules of some of today’s biggest groups and bands. One of the first announcements of the week came from the iconic rock band, Mannheim Steamroller. The band, which has become famous around the world for playing concerts through the holiday season, has just revealed plans for their 28th annual Christmas tour. Even though the holiday season is still months away, the band has rolled out their plans for an extensive annual Christmas tour event. The band has revealed that this latest event will include stops in 80 different cities, and as in years past, the tour will be divided into two different touring companies. Tickets for the tour event which will kick off in November of this year are now on sale and available to the public. The tour kick off tour events will take place on November 12th in Pueblo, Colorado and on November 13th in Williamsport, PA. Tickets are on sale now.

Summer Concert Tour News

This week, tickets went on sale for the 29th annual Farm Aid Music Festival. Tickets not only have officially gone on sale, but the team behind the event has revealed that Kacey Musgraves and Jack Johnson will not be appearing at the annual music event. Other performers include Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, Willie nelson and Neil Young. The festival will be held September 21st in Saratoga Springs, NY and tickets are now on sale.

In other concert news, The Avett Brothers have revealed that they will be heading out on a new North American tour that will take place this fall. The tour will take the band to a number of cities in both the United States and Canada. During the tour event, fans can expect to hear numbers from their Grammy nominated album The Carpenter, performed live. Tickets for the concert are on sale now.  Finally, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the his rock band The Pixies. The group revealed that they will be hitting the road this September for a brand new tour event. This tour will take the band around the globe to visit some of the biggest markets in the entire world. This tour will also feature a new bassist for the band, Ki Shattuck of The Pandoras, who will come in and replace former bassist, Kim Deal.
