This week, it was revealed that Brian Wilson, from the legendary band the Beach Boys along with famed guitarist Jeff Beck are heading out on a new tour event that will take the duo to many major markets in the United States. The co-headlining tour event will take the performers across North America and keep them on the road through much of the fall. The two Grammy award winning artists will begin their journey on September 27th with a performance in Hollywood, Florida. From there they will be visiting 17 different major markets in the United States.
The duo will end their tour on October 27th with a performance in Akron, Ohio. Those who are looking to get tickets to the event will find they go on sale to the public on August 9th. Both artists will be supporting their latest recordings with this tour event, and fans can also expect each of them to perform some of their biggest classic hits from their careers while on this excursion.
However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from award-winning performer Elvis Costello. The performer revealed that he will be heading out on the road for a new tour event that will have him visiting a dozen different cities on the East Coast of the United States. This new tour event is being called The Elvis Costello-Solo Tour, and it will be officially kicking off on November 2nd in Burlington, Vermont. According to the performer the new tour event will be supporting his latest album that he has recorded with The Roots, called “Wise Up Ghost.” This album is slated for release on September 17th.
During the tour event, Costello will be visiting several major cities including Boston and Philadelphia. The tour will officially wrap up on November 19th in Orono, ME.
