This week there were two major announcements regarding the tours of some of today’s biggest country bands. One of the first big announcements of the week came from the standout country group, The Band Perry. The country rockers just revealed some new plans for a global tour event to support their latest hit album Pioneer. As part of this concert announcement the band revealed that they will be heading to Europe for the first time. The band will be making several European stops, in a concert event that will kick off on November 8th in Gotenborg, Sweden. The band will stay in Europe throughout December 5th, and will conclude their tour in the United Kingdom in the city of Balfast. Other stops include stops in Norway, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, and France. From there, the band will head back overseas to the United States on January 9th when the band will continue to tour in North America. This tour will kick off in Penticton, British Colombia, for the North American portion and then they will travel throughout Canada and the United States until the end of March. Tickets for these exciting concert events will go on sale to the public now.
However, the biggest announcement of the week came from the iconic girl county band the Dixie Chicks. The girls announced that they will be heading out to Canada in October for a new fall tour event. This tour will be heading out to nine different cities across the country, for the first official tour for the country crooners in the past seven years. This new tour event will be kicking off on October 26th in Vancouver before heading out to other Canadian countries. The concert event will be heading out to other countries including Winnipeg and London, Ontario during this special event. During the tour fans can expect to hear some of the biggest classic songs from the girl band as well as some of their newer recordings live?
