Justin Moore, Bryan Adams and Korn

This week country singer Justin Moore made a major announcement regarding his current tour event. The signer, who is currently scheduled to be performing at state fairs across the country through the month of October, will be making the transition to arena shows starting on October 26th. These newly announced arena shows will begin on October 26th in Charlotte, North Carolina and will keep the artist on the road throughout the end of the ear. From there, Moore will take a break for the first three weeks of 2014 before heading out for 28 additional tour stops that will keep him on the road throughout April. Tickets for select show are on sale now and available to the public.

Rock and Roll

Another one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the famed Canadian singer, Bryan Adams. The singer revealed that he will be heading out on a new US tour this fall that will take him to several major markets along both the east and West Cost. The 12 city outing will start in San Francisco, California on October 14th. From there Adams will visit several markets in California before heading out to the east coast. This outing will conclude on October 26th in New York City with his final performance for the tour in Carnegie Hall. Tickets for the new tour event are on sale now and available to the public.

Phish Tour and More

This week, the legendary rock group Phish revealed new plans for an upcoming tour. The Vermont band has just revealed that they will be performing a four night run in New York City’s Madison Square Garden to celebrate New Year’s Eve this year. This special four night concert event will help ring in 2014. These newly announced tour dates will be added to the bands seven remaining tour stops that they have on their current tour event. Currently the band is on the road promoting their latest album, and still has stops in Hampton, VA, Atlantic City, NJ and more. The four night concert event will start on December 28th in New York City at the Madison Square Garden Arena and will wrap up on December 31st. Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 12th to see the band perform live.

Drake and Cher News

This week, just after the rapper and hip hop super star Drake, released his latest album, the performer also revealed that he will be changing the date for his upcoming tour. On Tuesday, the rapper released his third album “Nothing Was the Same.” This highly anticipated tour, known as the “Would You Like a Tour?” tour has kept fans waiting in anticipation as they wait to hear some of his latest songs from the new hit record, performed live. According to the performer, the rehearsal schedule and some of the technical aspects of the show are the cause for the delay. The pushed back tour will now start on October 18th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The tour was supposed to keep the performer on the road through the end of November, but will now keep the rapper on the road through December. 16th.

MGMT and Third Eye Blind

This week the rock band MGMT took the stage on the Jimmy Fallon show to reveal that they will be heading out on a new tour event this fall. According to the announcement from the rockers, their upcoming tour will take the band across North America for an exciting new event that will be promoting their latest, self-titled, album. The band will be promoting some of the biggest hits off the album including their latest single “Cool Song No. 2” during this concert event, as well as some of their other singles off their record. According to the announcement this new North American tour will be kicking off on November 10th. The first show will be taking place in Austin, Texas. From there the band will continue to tour in some of the biggest markets in the country before wrapping up the tour on December 13th in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets are on sale now.

This week, music fans have been talking about the highly anticipated new concert tour event from Robin Thicke. The popular singer who is behind this summer’s smash hit “Blurred Lines,” has just announced that hot off his much talked about VMA performance, he will be heading out on the road for a new concert event. The performer has just revealed that he will be heading out on the road in 2014 to promote his latest album that gave birth to this wildly popular song. The album, also called Blurred Lines, immediately shot to the top of the Billboard Top 200 Albums right after release. According to the performer this new tour event will be kicking off on February 21st in Atlanta, Georgia. From there the singer will be visiting 15 different major markets, before wrapping up his tour in San Francisco, California. On this new tour event, fans can expect to hear plenty of the songs featured on this Blurred Lines album as well as some of Thicke’s other big hits from his long and successful career in the industry. On the tour, Thicke will be supported by opening acts Jessie J and DJ Cassidy. This week, famed rapper Rick Ross made a major announcement about his upcoming tour plans. The performer revealed that he will be heading out on a new tour that will be promoting his upcoming album “Mastermind.” On this new tour, fans of the performer will be able to hear the rapper’s new hits from this record as well as some of his other big hits from his long and successful career in the music industry. This new album is slated for release by the end of the year and will be the rapper’s 6th studio effort. This new tour event will be kicking off on November 12th in Detroit, Michigan. On the tour, Ross will have a live band performing alongside him for every show. Tickets are on sale now for those looking to see Rick Ross perform live.

Elton John and Vampire Weekend

Earlier this week, the Indie rock group Vampire Weekend made a major announcement about their current touring plans. The band revealed that they will be performing at several European music festivals in the coming months and also taking a massive road trip across North America to deliver their fans with exciting new music from their latest studio effort. The band will be beginning this tour on September 19th in Philadelphia. From there the group will be visiting 17 different major outlets. This includes stops in the Baltimore suburb of Columbia, MD and in Austin, Texas. From there the rockers will be heading out on the European leg of their tour that will keep them on the road through the year’s end. This new tour event will be promoting their album “Modern Vampires of the City” which was released in May and debuted at the top spot of the Billboard 200. Weekend Concert Update

This week the alternative rock group Mazzy Star, made a major tour announcement that has their fans reeling over the opportunity to see the group perform live. The outfit will be visiting theaters in some of the biggest major markets in North America on a new tour event that will be supporting their upcoming fall album “Seasons of Your Day.” The band’s new tour will officially kick off on November 3rd, with a performance in Portland, Oregon. From there the band will stay on the road and visit 14 different cities across the coast before they wrap up their tour on November 23rd in Silver Spring, Maryland. This is the first time that the band will be touring in support of a new album in more than a decade as their last new record was released in 1996 with “Among My Swan.” Tickets for this exciting opportunity to see Mazzy Star perform live are on sale now.

John Mayer, George Strait, Martina McBride and More

This week Grammy award winning singer and songwriter, John Mayer, made a major announcement about his current Paradise Valley tour. The singer has revealed that he has just added 20 more dates to the North American leg of his current tour thanks to the tremendous success of this latest album. The new leg of the tour will kick off in Moline, Illinois on November 19th; from there the performer will stay on the road through December 17th where he will wrap up this leg off the tour with a performance in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets are on sale now and available to the public for the latest leg of Mayer’s tour.

However, one of the biggest tour announcements of the week undoubtedly came from the ‘King of Country’ recording artist George Strait. The platinum selling artist did announce his retirement earlier this year, but in a recent announcement from earlier this week, he also revealed that he will be heading out on one last tour before he retires. While this will not mark the complete end of George Strait’s career it will be the end of his touring days, according to the performer. Strait, who has already been on tour with Martina McBride this year, revealed that after retiring following his final tour, he will continue to produce albums every year.
