Broadway October News

This week, there were several big announcements made regarding some of the most highly anticipated Broadway shows of the upcoming year. One of the biggest announcements of the week came regarding the new production of the Broadway show A Time to Kill. This production is based on the novel by John Grisham and starts its previews this Saturday, September 28th at John golden Theatre. This adaptation is expected to be one of the ‘must see’ productions of the fall as the wildly popular best-selling novel already has a strong following of fans. Tickets to see these previews and the official production are now on sale and available to the public for those who want to see this brand new production live.  


This Saturday, the Broadway world will also be treated to the official premier of the highly anticipated production of The Few. Previews will begin this September 28th for the production of the comedy written by award-winning playwright Samuel D. Hunter. These previews will be leading up to the official opening of the production on October 3rd. The play will be held at The Old Globe Theater. This rendition of the play will feature the work of Gideon Flick, Eva Kaminsky, Michael Laurence and Jenny Bacon. Tickets are available now for those looking to see this hilarious new comedy live. 


Finally, one of the other big announcements of the week came regarding the Broadway production of the new Broadway musical Big Fish. The new musical based off the book by Daniel Wallace and the film by Tim Burton. With an award winning team and Tony award nominated actors bringing the characters of this productions to live, this musical is one of the most talked about shows on the Broadway stage. Big Fish just officially went into preview mode and now preview tickets are available to see the production before its official opening next month. Those who get tickets to see this production live will be able to see the show unfold at the Neil Simon Theatre. Will you be getting tickets to see Big Fish live?
