This week the winner of the 2012 X Factor competition, James Arthur, revealed that he will be heading out on his own new solo tour event. The Event will have the artist headlining several big shows that will take him throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. Beginning in January of 2014. During this tour, fans can expect to hear several hits from his new self-titled debut album, set to hit shelves on November 4th. Tickets go on sale October 11th.
Meanwhile, the iconic rock outfit, the Pixies, have made a concert announcement of their own, revealing that they will be heading out on a new North American tour. This 2014 tour event will begin on January 15th in Toronto and will include stops all over the United States and Canada. The tour will be wrapping up at the Austin Music Hall in March. Tickets go on sale this week for those who want to see the Pixies take the stage live.
However one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the ultra successful band, the Imagine Dragons. The team revealed that they will now be heading out on tour for a brand new concert event. During this tour event, the hit rockers will be playing at 21 different arenas around the country, and traveling to some of the biggest market in the United States. This new tour will kick off in 2014 and will be support of the band’s latest album; their platinum selling record called Night Visions. On this new tour event, fans can expect to hear a number of the biggest songs from this record performed live including the band’s major hit “Radioactive.”
The tour will also feature performance from supporting acts Naked and Famous, who will open up all of the shows. This new tour event officially kicks off on February 8th in Boise, Idaho. From there the band will continue to tour to several other cities before wrapping up the tour in Denver, Colorado on March 15th. Other major stops include shows in Atlanta, Austin, Phoenix and Los Angeles. Tickets for this new massive tour event are slated to go on sale October 11th to the public.
