This week, famed country singer, Jamey Johnson, revealed that he will be heading out on a new tour event that will take him to several theatre venues across the United States. In addition to making a guest appearance at the George Jones tribute event next month, the country singer will be heading out on a fall theatre run that will kick off on October 18th in Jackson, MS. Another southern rocker, Gregg Allman has also made an announcement regarding his upcoming tour event. The rock icon has been on the road all summer touring with his Allman Brother Band, but is now heading out on the road for a solo effort. Due to the success of his fall solo run, which kicked off on October 11th in Montgomery, Alabama, the singer has revealed that he will be extending the run into 2014. During the tour the rocker will be visiting some of the biggest venues in the country. Tickets are on sale now for this new concert event.
Also, this week, iconic performer Jimmy Buffet made a major announcement regarding his current tour event. The singer, who is currently on his tour called the “Songs from St. Somewhere” which is promoting his album of the same name, has revealed he will be staying on the road a little longer for this tour event. Buffett has added new stops to the tour that will keep him on the road to September. Five new dates have been added to the tour, which will now keep the singer performing until he wraps up the event on December 14th in Honolulu. Other December stops for the tour include new shows in Tulsa, OK, North Little Rock, AR and Saint Paul MN. Tickets for these newly added show dates are now on sale and available to the public.
