This week, legendary guitarist and multi-Grammy award winning performer Carlos Santana made a major announcement about his upcoming performance plans. The artist revealed that he will be continuing his Las Vegas residency next month. Even though the residency at Mandalay Bay was scheduled to wrap up next month, Santana will be extending his show, called his “Greatest Hits Live” show so that it goes into 2014. The 15 additional performances will take the show into February 1st of next year.
During this special showcase, fans can expect to hear some of the performer’s biggest hits from his expansive career as well as some of his latest songs from his recent album “Shape Shifter.” Santana will also be performing a one-off show in December in Guadalajara, Mexico to promote his latest album called “Corazon.”

However, one of the biggest and most talked about announcements of the week came from famed country crooner Luke Bryan. The singer revealed this week that he will be heading out on a new tour event for 2013. The tour will be called the “That’s My Kind of Night” tour and it will officially be kicking off early next year. This US tour will officially kick of in Columbus, Ohio on January 16th. From there Bryan will be visiting 18 different locations before he wraps up the tour on March 8th in Bossier City, Louisiana. On this exciting tour event, the AMC Entertainer of the Year will be featuring some new songs from his latest album “Crash My Party.” Fans can also expect to hear some of the CMA award winner’s biggest past hits performed live in this new tour spectacular.
The tour will also feature support from two different opening acts, Lee Brice and Cole Swindell. Tickets to see the platinum selling artist perform are expected to go fast so those who want to see him perform live are encouraged to act quickly.
