This week concert goers were surprised to hear an announcement from famed rapper Kanye West about his current tour plans. The rapper has been on the road for his much talked about “Yeezus” tour since earlier this month. However, the singer cancelled six of his shows and went on a brief hiatus. Now the performer has revealed that his tour has plans to return to the stage after the unexpected break. West is currently planning on resuming the North American leg of his tour starting on November 16th. From there, the tour will continue along with its original tour schedule and make the rest of the stops, as planned on the tour. The rapper has also revealed that the shows in Chicago, Auburn Hills, MI and Toronto have been rescheduled for December. However, the cancelled shows in Denver, Minneapolis and Columbus, OH will not be rescheduled. During these shows, fans of the performer can except to hear music from the rappers’ sixth album “Yeezus.” Tickets for the newly rescheduled shows are now on sale.
However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from two of the most recognizable performers in the industry;
Paul Simon and Sting. The two iconic rockers revealers that they will be working together on a new collaboration tour early next year that will take them across North America for an exciting new event. The two performers have revealed that they will not only be taking the stage together for a unique set but that they will also be performing their own individual sets during this one of a kind concert experience.
The tour will be called the “Paul Simon and Sting: On Stage Together” tour and it will officially kick off on February 8th in Houston, Texas. From there the jaunt will keep the two rockers on the road for five weeks. During this tour, there will be 18 different stops in the United States and Canada as the performers visit some of the biggest arenas in the entire world. On March 16th, the tour will wrap up with one final performance in Orlando, Florida. Tickets for this unique concert experience will go on sale to the public on November 12th.
