This week, the iconic performing troop, The Rockettes, made a major announcement regarding their upcoming performance schedule. The legendary dancing group appeared on top of the Empire State Building in New York and lit it green and red to let the city know that their 2013 Radio City Christmas Spectacular would be coming to down. The show officially debuted on November 13th and is set to run through December 30th. For years, the show has been known as the heart of New York City’s Christmas celebrations. This family friendly show will feature The Rockettes in a new, over-the-top holiday spectacular.
According to the announcement, this year’s show will feature a collaboration of performances including iconic performances from the past and brand new numbers as well. This will include their new performance of “Snow” a live dance routine that fills the famous Radio City Music Hall with real snow. Tickets are now on sale for those who are looking to see all of the excitement of this live performance in person.
While many in New York City are gearing up for the Rockettes’ annual show, another big announcement was made that has music fans from around the country excited for the upcoming tour season. This is because Justin Timberlake announced this week that he will be expanding his current North American tour. The performer is currently on the road with his “20/20 Experience” show and has plans to add even more stops to his jaunt. According to the singer he has added a dozen additional stops to his tour route, after wildly successful sales were recorded. Currently the singer has approximately 18 shows to complete before the New Year, when he will be taking a small stop before starting on the second leg of the tour. When this second leg is done, in July of this year there will be 12 additional arena stops for fans. This includes stops in New Orleans, Baltimore and Las Vegas. Tickets for these newly unveiled shows go on sale November 18th. Will you be getting tickets to see this performance live when Justin Timberlake comes to your home town?
