This week pop group the John Butler trio made an announcement about their upcoming domestic tour. The pop recording artists revealed that they will be heading out on a new spring club and theater tour that will take the group across North America. The new tour event will be supporting the band’s latest record. The multi-platinum selling band will start their North American tour event with a concert on February 3rd at the New York City Bowery Ballroom. The performance sold out almost immediately, as did their second performance in Brooklyn for February 4th. from there the band will head out on the road for three weeks, visiting several major venues including stops in Vancouver and San Diego. The outing will be supporting the band’s sixth studio album called “Flesh and Blood.” Tickets for the shows that haven’t sold out yet are on sale now and available to the public.
However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from breakout teenage star, Lorde. The wildly popular singer has just announced that she will be heading out on the road for a new 2014 tour event. This new tour outing will be supporting her studio album “Pure Heroine.” The singer, who is native to New Zealand will be performing several shows in late January and early February before she heads out on the road for her North American trek. This leg of her tour will begin in Austin, Texas on March 3rd. From there the singer will head to 15 different cities across the country over a three week period. On this tour, fans can expect to hear some of the most popular tracks from the singer’s “Pure Heroine” album as well as the lead single from his record “Royals” her popular track that has been downloaded more than 3 million times. After the tour, Lorde has revealed she will be heading out to do the 2014 Festival Circuit. Tickets are on sale now to see Lorde perform in 2014 on her new tour.
