This week there have been several big announcements as music fans gear up for the upcoming tour season. One of the big announcements of the week came from rapper Kanye West. The singer has just added another leg to his North American tour called the “Yeezus” tour. The new tour event is supporting his album of the same name and will feature some of his latest hits from this wildly popular record. The superstar will be extending the tour significantly with this being his first solo trek in the last five years.

The singer is currently on hiatus from touring but is slated to return to the stage on February 13th. This new leg of his tour will officially kick off in University Park, PA and will continue to eight different stops over ten days’ time. Key stops along the way include concerts in Baltimore and Atlantic City. The tour will then wrap up in Uniondale, New York on February 23rd. Kanye West has not released any additional information about other plans for additional legs of this tour at this time. Tickets are on sale for the newly unveiled leg of this Kanye West Tour.

However, this week there was no bigger announcement than the reveal that came from the iconic performer Billy Joel. The singer just announced plans for an upcoming tour event for his new North American outing. The singer announced the tour right after announcing his plans for his new music residency at Madison Square Garden. The tour will kick off this month and stay on the road through September. In the most recent announcement, Joel revealed that the tour has now been extended and he will officially be wrapping up his run on 9/17 in New York. During the tour, the iconic performer will be making stops in other major markets including Los Angeles, Detroit and Las Vegas. During the show, fans can expect to hear some of the biggest songs from the singer’s long and successful career in the industry performed live on stage. Tickets are available now for those who want to see Billy Joel take the stage live. Will you be getting tickets to this new Billy Joel concert?
