While many rock fans are expected to get tickets to see The Killers live, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from one of the most popular names in country music. This week, Keith Urban revealed plans for his new upcoming tour event.  After wrapping up his latest gig with “American Idol” Keith Urban has revealed plans for hitting the road in new North American tour event called the Raise ‘Em Up tour. According to Radio.com, Urban will be heading out to play multiple shows in both the US and Canada. The new tour event will officially kick off on July 12th in Calgary, Alberta. The US tour dates will officially start on July 18th, with Urban’s performance in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

This exciting new tour event will keep Urban on the road through September as the tour is officially scheduled to wrap up on September 13th with a performance at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Washington. The chart topping, Grammy award winning performer has already had a big year and this tour is expected to sell out fast. In addition to having a chart topping album with his record “Fuse” which sold 98,000 copies in its first week, the singer also has a number one single with Miranda Lambert with the hit “We Were Us.” During the new tour, Urban will be joined on stage by Jerrod Niemann and Brett Elderidge.
