Summer Concert Ticket News

This week, several artists announced plans for their upcoming fall and summer tour schedules now that the summer season is officially in bloom. One of the first major announcements came from Foster the People, the Indie-folk rockers who just announced that they will be heading out on an extensive North American tour. The tour will kick off after the group wraps up their current outing in Europe. The concert will feature performances of some of the band’s biggest hits to date as well as some of their new material. The show will kick off in Morison, CO on August 6th and feature stops in big markets such as Orlando, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. The tour will keep the band on the road throughout the fall. Tickets are on sale now.


Colbie Caillat also announced plans for her own US tour. The singer revealed that she will be heading out around the United States in a tour that will support her latest album “Gypsy Heart (Side A).” The singer will also be performing some of her other major hits from her long and successful career in the industry. The tour will kick off in Huntington, NY on September 3rd. Other major stops include shows in San Diego, Niagra Falls and others. Tickets are on sale now for this new tour event.

Jason Mraz And Other Concert News

This week, the hit rock band, Foster the People announced plans for their upcoming North American tour. The rockers will be heading out on the road this fall in support of their second album, titled “Supermodel.” This album was released on March 18th to rave reviews. Fans can expect to hear some of the biggest hits from the band’s latest album on this tour, which made it into the top five on the US Billboard Top 200 the first week it was released.


The band will be joined on stage by several opening acts such as The Velvet Team, Fitz and The Tantrums and Sylvan Esso. According to the announcement from the group, the band will go on tour throughout the United States and into Canada for an outing that will keep them on the road throughout the months of September, October and November. The band will be visiting several major markets such as Saint Paul, Orlando, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles during this outing. The group will also be hosting a two night stay in New York City.

Summer Concert Fun

This week, pop singer Demi Lovato revealed a major announcement about her upcoming live performance plans, after the singer tweeted a tease on her official social media account. Lovato revealed that she will be taking over the popular Brooklyn Barclays Center for an exclusive new performance for her New York City fans. The concert will be taking place on October 27th as part of her world tour. For this special concert event, Lovato will be joined on stage by opening acts MKTO and Christina Perri. During the tour, fans can expect to hear some of the singer’s biggest hits from her latest album as well as some of the most successful songs from Lovato’s previous albums. Tickets go on sale Friday June 27th for those who are interested in seeing the singer live in Brooklyn.

Summer Concerts

This week, there were several major announcements regarding the tour schedules for some of today’s biggest artists. This week, the successful Electro-pop group, St. Lucia announced that they will be heading out on a new North American tour this fall. This new tour will be in support of the upcoming release of their expanded album “When The Night.” According to the announcement from the group, the band will have 24 days scheduled along the tour, which includes stops in Phoenix, Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta. The tour will start in Pittsburgh, PA on September 25th. From there the band will head out on the road before wrapping up their tour in Washington DC on November 25th. The band will be joined by several different opening acts on select dates including the Haerts, Joywave and The Knocks. Tickets went on sale this week.

Summer Concert

This week Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers also announced they are adding some additional shows to their tour schedule. This announcement comes after the band had to cancel a few of their shows in Lincoln, NE and Kansas City, MO. The band has added four shows to their tour which starts on August 3rd in San Diego. New stops include shows in Clarkston, MI, Darient Center, NY and Morrison, CO. The tour in total will include 30 major market stops. This new tour event will be supporting the band’s upcoming release “Hypnotic Eye.” Tickets are on sale now.

Sir Elton John and John Fullbright News

This week Grammy nominated singer/songwriter John Fullbright announced that he will be heading out on a new tour event. The tour will be supporting the singer’s recent sophomore album titled “Songs,” and it will take the performer around to both domestic and international tour stops. The singer is currently kicking off his summer tour with several stateside performances and a performance during his induction into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame on June 27th. Following this honor, the singer will head to Europe for an extensive two-week fun. The singer also has a late summer/early fall leg of the tour both in North America and Europe. The current itinerary for the concert is scheduled to wrap up on October 10th in Athens, Georgia. Tickets are on sale for this new concert event now.


Honda Civic Tour and More

This week multi-talented performer Ty Segall announced plans for his upcoming world tour event. The world tour will officially kick off on August 23rd with five consecutive performances at The Echo in Los Angeles. From there the singer will head out around the United States performing in cities such as Nashville, Austin, Atlanta and Miami. In early fall, 2014, the singer will be heading across the pond for a leg of his tour that will take place in Europe. Fans can expect to hear some of the singer’s biggest hits today performed live during the outing. On select dates, Ty Segall will be joined on stage by opening acts Wand or La Luz. Another big announcement this week came from the popular band Grouplove. The rockers revealed that they will be spending their summer co-headlining the annual Honda Civic Tour. This massive tour event will bring the rockers together with fellow rock band, Portugal. The man. The LA-based outfit will be kicking of the summer with several international performances before heading back stateside for an August 8th appearance at the San Francisco Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival. After these shows the band will officially start their performance as part of the Honda Civic Tour. The 13th annual event will kick off on August 10th in Redmond, WA and visit 20 major markets along the way. The show will officially wrap up on September 16th in New York City.

How can anyone not love summer? Grilling out, seasonal fruits, beach days, summer attire, and of course summer tours and  concerts! Summer is the best season for concerts especially when outdoors. There’s nothing much better than listening to your favorite music playing while you enjoy the warm summer days and nights. After the rough winter that was had across the U.S. this past winter, these summer months will definitely not be taken for granted.

And it seems as though this summer of 2014 will not disappoint in the music department either. There are tons of amazing tours happening across the country for every genre of music – literally there is something for everyone’s ear drums to enjoy. Whether you like rap, hip hop, country, alternative, etc…this summer’s got it.

Listed below are some of the top music tours happening this summer:
1) On the Run Tour – Beyonce and Jay Z are co-performing what promises to be an incredible tour. They’ll be touring the country starting June 25 until August 5.

2) The Lazaretto Tour – This is Jack White’s tour for his second solo album, Lazaretto. His tour that started May 29 is getting amazing feedback so get your tickets while you still can. His last show is August 31.

Lykke Li and Alan Jackson News

This week, chart topping Swedish singer and songwriter Lykke Li announced that she will be heading out on a new North American tour. Following her European run this summer, the singer will be heading stateside to support her latest effort “I Never Learn.” The singer will start with performances at different music festivals in late June and early July. Then she will be kicking off her official tour following an August 1st performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago. The tour has already been so popular, that the singer has added 13 additional major market shows to the itinerary, keeping the singer on the road through mid-October. However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the incomparable Alan Jackson. The country legend revealed earlier this week that he will be heading out on a brand new tour that will take the singer across the United States. The new tour is being deemed the “25th Anniversary Tour” and it will take Jackson around the country. This announcement was made when Jackson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. According to the singer, this is not a farewell tour, simply a tour that celebrates Jackson’s career so far in the industry.

On the Run Tour: Beyoncé and Jay-Z

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are unstoppable – literally. Beyoncé just wrapped up her almost year-long 132-date Mrs. Carter Show World Tour this past March while Jay-Z completed his 52-date Magna Carter World Tour this past January. Their 16-city On the Run Summer Tour kicks off on June 25th at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium and will include concerts in both the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up on August 5th at AT&T Park in San Francisco. European tour dates to follow in September, starting in Paris.

Rumor has it Beyoncé has been putting in several extra hours of rehearsal time for the summer tour and if history and reputation can tell us anything about Beyoncé’s concerts, she will not leave her fans disappointed. In addition to her stunning beauty that captivates anyone that looks at her to having incredible wardrobe changes throughout her performances, Beyoncé delivers amazing choreography, powerful vocal chords, and non-stop entertainment with little to no breaks. Fans describe being brought to tears one minute, then laughing the next minute, all while being mesmerized by Beyoncé’s amazing character that seems to shine through even from on-stage.

Happy Father’s Day Entertainment Update

This week, country superstar Brad Paisley announced that he is shifting some of the dates on his upcoming North American tour. The outing, called the “Moonshine in the Trunk” show has the singer touring around the continent to some of the biggest venues in North America. The singer was scheduled to play three shows in Ontario during the tour in mid-October. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the singer has now pushed these shows back to mid-November. Tickets purchased for the October shows will still be honored in November and new tickets for the shows go on sale this week. The new show dates are November 13 (rescheduled from October 15th), November 14 (rescheduled from October 16th) and November 15 (rescheduled from October 18th).

However, the biggest announcement this week came from two of the biggest rap artists in the industry. Drake and Lil Wayne have been tied to a rumored feud for years. However, the two award-winning rappers have been an end to these rumors with their new co-headlining tour announcement. The two performers have teamed up for a massive summer/fall tour that will take the two performers across the continent to some of the biggest venues in North America. In addition to visiting major markets in the United States such as Atlanta, Dallas, Tampa and more, the two performers will be visiting plenty of venues in Drakes’ home country in Canada.
