This week, pop singer Demi Lovato revealed a major announcement about her upcoming live performance plans, after the singer tweeted a tease on her official social media account. Lovato revealed that she will be taking over the popular Brooklyn Barclays Center for an exclusive new performance for her New York City fans. The concert will be taking place on October 27th as part of her world tour. For this special concert event, Lovato will be joined on stage by opening acts MKTO and Christina Perri. During the tour, fans can expect to hear some of the singer’s biggest hits from her latest album as well as some of the most successful songs from Lovato’s previous albums. Tickets go on sale Friday June 27th for those who are interested in seeing the singer live in Brooklyn.

Another big announcement came when pop superstar Katy Perry announced that she will be spending the rest of 2014 on the tour as she fills out the rest of the dates for her 2014 “Prismatic World Tour.” The tour will be supporting Perry’s 2013 release “Prism” and will be her biggest tour to date. The award-winning singer will start her six-month journey this week, and now all of the details of her tour have been released revealing where the singer will be going this summer and fall. The singer will be visiting 38 different cities across North American which will keep her on the road through mid-October. The tour will include several two-night stands. Upon wrapping up this portion of the tour, in the US and Canada, Perry will also be doing a handful of shows in Mexico and finally heading to Australia for a month-long outing.

During this tour, the Grammy-nominated singer will be making appearances in Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Miami, St. Louis and other major cities. During the tour, she will be joined on stage by several big name opening acts. This includes performers such as Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara.
