This week there were several announcements about upcoming concert tour plans from today’s most celebrated recording artists. One of the week’s biggest announcements came from seasoned recording artist Jack White. The rocker and former member of The White Strips officially launched his latest tour, which will take him around the country to some of the biggest major markets in the United States. According to the announcement from the rocker, the new tour will be promoting his latest album “Lazaretto” which was released earlier in the month of June. This is the rocker’s second solo album. Tickets went on sale this week for shows, including shows in Jacksonville, FL on September 20h, Miami Beach, FL on September 21-22 and a show in Columbia, SC on September 24th.
Another major announcement this week came from pop store, Lorde. The singer is currently touring around North America this summer, supporting her platinum-selling album “Pure Heroine.” The singer just announced that she will be adding a second night performance at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California, after selling out her first night at the venue. Finally, Brad Paisley made his own announcement, revealing that he will be taking his “Country Nation World Tour” to even more fans across North America. This week tickets to new shows officially went on sale. This includes shows in Austin, Texas on September 4th, Dallas, Texas on September 5th, and September 6th in The Woodlands, Texas. Tickets for these shows are expected to go fast, so fans will want to act quickly when getting their tickets to these shows.
Finally, English singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran announced that he will be making several US performance stops late this summer, behind his second album “x,” (an album also known as “multiply.” On-sales begin this week for several shows, including his performances in Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN.
