This week singer and songwriter David Gray announced plans to extend his current US tour plans. The performer will be kicking off his US tour this Friday on August 1st in Boston, MA at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion. This will be the performer’s first full US tour in four years. The singer not only made the announcement about his tour plans this week but he also performed a new track from his latest album “Mutineers” through Yahoo Music. David will not only be kicking off his tour this week, but he will also be extending the original plans for his tour throughout the fall with 17 new cities being added to the itinerary. During these tour events, fans can expect to hear some of the singer’s biggest hits as well as some of his most recent singles, all performed live. Tickets for the newly added shows go on sale August 1st, August 8th or August 9th depending on the show.
Key stops along the way include shows in Boston, New York, Columbia, Charlotte, Nashville, Raleigh, and Atlanta. Many of these shows will be performed at massive outdoor venues. Some tickets are also available now for those looking to see the performer live during this new tour.
Another major announcement this week came from superstars Beyonce and Jay Z. The married dynamic duo revealed that they will be adding additional shows to their ‘On the Run’ Tour to the United Kingdom. The couple is currently out on the road for their “On the Run” tour, visiting some of the biggest major arenas and amphitheaters in the country. The couple has yet to announce any solid dates, but they have revealed that they will be performing at an arena, likely in autumn, in the fall. So far, the only confirmed European date for the tour is in Paris, in a show that will take place in September and will be filmed by HBO for a special documentary program. The couple started their headlining gig last month in Miami and will be touring around the country throughout the rest of the summer. Will you be seeing Beyonce and Jay Z in tour this year?
