With the first pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected Jadeveon Clowney, the superstar defensive end out of South Carolina. While there may be questions about Clowney’s motor or work ethic, he is undoubtedly one of the most athletically gifted individuals to come out of the draft in recent memory. Teaming him up with J.J. Watt, the Texans hope these two stalwarts will terrorize opposing quarterbacks for years to come. Now the question is, how much will it be for fans to see them play?
The Texans open up play against Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins on September 7th. Houston Texans tickets for the game have an average ticket price of $243 while the cheapest ticket you’ll be able to find is $75. Fans looking to sit in the lower level will find tickets starting at $158 in the end zone seats, with corner seats available for only $145 and ticket between the 40’s beginning at $189 (with an average price of a whopping $496.)
If those ticket prices are a little too much for your wallet to handle, the second home game of the season is much more affordable.
After road games against the Oakland Raiders and the New York Giants, the Texans return home to host the Buffalo Bills. The average ticket price for Texans tickets is currently $174 for their Bills game, with the get-in price at $49. There don’t appear to be too many bargains in the lower level, however, with tickets beginning at $111 in the end zone and $117 in the corners. If you want seats between the 40’s, the average ticket price is $358 and the cheapest ticket you’ll be able to find is $179.
Clowney will look to make an early impression in 2014 and you should make sure you are there to see him play! Buy your Texans tickets today from Coast to Coast Tickets!
