Fergie has plans to create a musical adaptation of the popular book and animated film. His original animated film, released in 1982, featured the voices of Alan Arkin, Mia Farrow and Jeff Bridges. Now Josh Duhamel will produce the stage version of the venture. The team also includes Connor Cochran and Lauren Sends. There have been other attempts to bring the show to the sage in the past, but no production has made it to the Broadway stage. The project is still in the early stages of developments, with more details on the premier of the production expected to be released by the end of the year.
Another big show that many are talking about is the show “The Country House,” this production comes from Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies. The production will be returning to Broadway, as this comedy about a deeply dramatic family comes back to the stage. Tony and Emmy award winner Blythe Danner will star as Anna Patterson in the show, the Matriarch of the Danner family.
