By David Jacobs | September 7th, 2014

This week, one of the biggest rock bands in music, Maroon 5, announced their official plans for an upcoming tour. The rockers will be touring around the globe in 2015, beginning with a show in Dallas, Texas. The concert extravaganza will officially kick off on February 16h. From there, the rockers will visit 27 different cities across North America, wrapping up the stateside portion of their tour in April. After this leg, the band will head overseas to perform in the United Kingwon, Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Italy. The group made the announcement along with the official debut of their latest record, “V” which contains hits such as “Maps and Animals.” The group is also promoting the album with several upcoming live television appearances, which should give fans a preview of what they can expect when the tour officially gets underway. According to the announcement, tickets for most shows go on sale on September 13th.

Usher Tour

However, one of the biggest announcements of the week undoubtedly came from hit singer Usher. The performer just announced his new tour, called the UR Experience tour. The singer announced the tour with a dramatic trailer, and has revealed plans for specific tour dates. During the outing, Usher will be joined by fellow acts August Alsina and DJ Cassidy. The tour will begin in November, in Montreal, QC, on the first. From there the singer will travel around North America, performing at some of the biggest arenas on the continent. Major stops include shows at the Staples Center in LA, Madison Square Garden and at the United Center in Chicago. Right now, the tour is scheduled to wrap up on December 14th with a show in Tampa, Florida. On this exciting new tour event, fans of the singer can expect to hear some of his newest hits performed live, in a tour that is described as the ultimate experience for Usher fans. His cinematic trailer for the event also showed Usher training intensely for the tour, which has many fans expecting the performer to dazzle audiences with his signature dance moves. Usher tickets go on sale this month for the tour. Will you be seeing the new Usher “experience” live?
