Stagecoach Festival and One Direction Tour
By David Jacobs | October 25th, 2014

As 2014 is creeping to a close, many are excited about plans for 2015 events. One of the biggest events of the season is the annual Stagecoach Festival. This year, several big name artists have been tapped as headliners for the upcoming festival. The 2015 edition of the Indio, CA festival will be the ninth annual event. The festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club on April 24th-26th, 2015 and once again will feature a star-studded line up of country music stars and blues music artists. This year, big acts such as Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, will all be taking on headlining duties. Other acts such as The Band Perry, Dierks Bently and Gregg Allman will also be performing at the festival.

However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from one of the most popular bands in music today. The band One Direction made a major announcement about their 2015 tour plans this week. Even though the group ended their “Where We Are” tour just a few weeks ago, the group is already planning their upcoming tour. The new event will be called the “On the Road Again” tour and it will keep the all-male band on the road for most of 2015. While information on the band’s plan to tour has been released in the past, this week, the official stops along the tour are now being released to the public. The tour has official dates in Australia and Asia in February, which has previously been announced. Now the band has official shows in Europe which will start in mid-June. The band will perform in Europe before heading to the United States for 17 shows that will keep them touring through the month of September.

The tour will keep the band touring to some of the biggest stadiums in the United States. This includes stops at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Columbus’ Ohio Stadium and CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Some of these stadiums have capacities of more than 100,000 people. Tickets go on sale to the public on November 1st to the public. Will you be getting tickets to see One Direction live on their new tour?
