Christmas Time News

Just in time for the holiday season, several major stars announced plans for their upcoming 2015 tour schedules, and it looks as though next year will be filled with ‘must-see’ concert events. The first major announcement came from acclaimed singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey, who revealed that she will be heading out on the road for a brand new concert event. During a select number of shows Rey will be joined on stage by opening act, Courtney Love, former lead singer of the band Hole.


The tour will kick off on May 7th of next year in Woodlands, Texas and visit several major stops throughout the month and into the summer. The singer plans on announcing another leg, which will take her across the east coast in the coming weeks. The current tour schedule has the performer on the road through June 16th, where she will wrap up her touring efforts in West Palm Beach, Florida at the Cruzan Amphitheater. Tickets are on sale now for those looking to see Lana Del Rey perform live on stage in this new concert event.

Katy Perry will officially be taking on headlining duties at the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show. The pop star is currently on her Prismatic World Tour, but will be taking a break from the international jaunt to perform on Sunday, February 1st at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. After the Super Bowl concert, the singer will be returning to Europe for a five-week long leg of her current world tour. Tickets are available for those who want to see Perry live at the Super Bowl halftime show and for those wishing to see her exciting Prism world tour live, as select dates still have seats open.


Alternative rockers Bush announced they would be heading out on a new headlining tour event. The ban will be supporting their highly anticipated new record, “Man On the Run” with a new massive tour event set to kick off this year. Fans of the group, headed by Gavin Rossdale, have been anxiously awaiting a new record from the group and now the band will be delivering fans with a sneak preview of that record starting with their holiday concerts. The first holiday concert kicks off on December 1st, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then the group will head out for eight more tour stops around the country through the middle of the month. Each of these specialty holiday concerts is radio-station sponsored.

Broadway 2015 Is Around The Corner

With the end of 2014 fast approaching, many live theater fans are already looking towards the New Year to find out what exciting shows 2015 will bring. Recent announcements about the upcoming shows for the 2015 season prove this will be one of the most star-studded years on Broadway in decades.


One of the first big announcements about the New Year came regarding the new production of “Fish in the Dark.” This show will mark the official Broadway debut of actor and writer Larry David. His premier on Broadway is already highly anticipated, the “Curb Your Enthusiasm Star” and creator of “Seinfeld,” will be performing a show following his own words. The play is inspired by the death of a friend’s father, and will feature David’s acting and screenwriting talents in an exciting, dramatic new production. The show officially opens to the public on March 5th. Tickets are on sale now.
