New Year Theater Update

For fans of the new Broadway musical “The Last Ship” that features music and lyrics from Sting, a new surprise edition to the play’s lineup has just been announced. The musical will now star Sting in one of the lead roles, with the performer taking on the responsibility through January 10th. Tickets are available now for those who want to see Sting in his Broadway acting debut.

The Riverside Theatre has also just announced their latest production with the much talked about musical Crazy for You. The show is set to premier on January 13th and will feature an ensemble cast that includes Abby Church, Ben Libert, and Michael McGurk and “Brady Bunch” stars Eve Plumb. The story tells a gripping tale of Bobby Child, a rich son of a banking family who has dreams of making it on Broadway. Tickets are on sale now for one of the most exciting new shows of 2015.

2015 is here, many big name artists have announced their plans for touring in the New Year. This week, several artists revealed their ambitious tour plans for 2015. One of the first big announcements of the week came from iconic rockers AC/DC, when the band revealed that they would be heading out on a brand new tour event. The rockers will be supporting their latest album Rock or Bust, with a brand new world tour. The tour officially kicks off on May 5th in Gerledome, Holland, The tour will take the band around the world to some of the biggest venues across the globe, and even more dates are being added in the future. Right now the tour is scheduled to keep the band on the road through the end of July. Tickets go on sale now for the event.

Meanwhile Georgia rockers, Widespread Panic made their own tour announcement, revealing plans for the first leg of their 2015 spring tour. The rockers will not only be headlining the massive Wanee Tour of 2015, but they will be heading out on their own venture as well. The tour will kick off in Boise, Idaho on March 3rd. Major stops along the trek include shows in Oakland, Seattle and LA. More dates are expected to be revealed before the end of the year and tickets to the bands current shows are available now.
