Arcade Fire, Wisconsin Country Thunder and more

This week there were several ticketing announcements about upcoming musical tour events. One of the biggest announcements of the week came from the rock band Arcade Fire. The rockers just revealed that they have added more shows to their current 2014 major market tour. This North American tour known as “Reflektor.” The Grammy award winning band will be starting this new tour on March 6th of next year. The tour will officially kick off in Louisville, Kentucky. Right now thanks to the additional shows, the band will stay on the road throughout August 30th. The band will officially wrap up the tour in Montreal, Canada. Tickets are now on sale for all of these dates including the newly added shows.

This week, the official line up for the Wisconsin Country Thunder summer tour event was revealed. The four day event will be taking place on July 24th-27th in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. According to the announcement there have been several big name performers who have confirmed they will be taking the stage as part of this annual country music summer music festival. Headliners for this exciting country music event include Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Brantley Gilbert. There will also be other performers taking the stage at this event including Gary Allan, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Mark Chesnutt and more. Tickets will go on sale early next year for this event.

Skrillex and The Eagles

This week, there were several big tour announcements that have had music fans of all types excited for the
upcoming tour season. One of the biggest announcements of the week came from famed electronic musician Sonny
Moore. The performer, known by many as Skrillex, has just announced that he will kick off a new winter tour
event. The tour, known as the “Takeovers” tour will take the performer to several cities this winter.
Beginning with a performance in San Francisco and ending with a February 14th performance in Brooklyn. Both of
these stops will feature multi-night runs, so that fans have plenty of opportunities to see the show live
while Skrillex is in town. During these performances, the electronic music superstar will be joined on stage
by A$AP Rocky, Jack Beats, Seven Lions and other electronic music performers. Tickets are on sale now and
available to the public for those who want to see the performer take the stage live in this new tour event.

Holiday Season Concert Update

This week it was revealed that country crooner Trace Adkins revealed that he would be heading out on a new Christmas tour promoting his latest Christmas album. His new record, titled “The King’s Gift,” which contains classic holiday songs. These songs not only have the country roots that Adkins is so well known for, along with Irish and Celtic influences. The album has already found a great deal of success within the market, and now Adkins has launched an exciting new tour event to promote his album. The tour started in mid-November. This new theatrical tour includes performances from Lily Costner and Andrea Zonn. During this tour event, fans can expect to hear some of the singer’s biggest holiday hits. Shows will carry on throughout December. Happy Thanksgiving Concert Update

This week, there were several big announcements from some of the biggest legends in the entire music industry. One of the first big announcements of the week came from George Strait. The singer is currently planning his final tour as a performer and with his outing called “The Cowboy Rides Away” tour. This tour is slated to officially kick off next summer in Arlington, Texas. In addition to announcing this new tour event, the singer has revealed that he will have an all-star lineup joining him on stage for this new event. Other performers to join George Strait on stage will include Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, among others. The new tour will wrap up in Arlington’s AT&T Stadium. Here the singer will be performing in front of a massive crowd of more than 100,000 fans. This final performance will include guest performances from Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Fill, Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack, Faith Hill and Martina McBride. Broadway November Update

This week, there were a few big announcements that have had theatre fans excited for the upcoming Broadway schedule. One of the biggest announcements of the week came from the team behind the musical event Bullets Over Broadway. This new play was written by iconic Hollywood director, Woody Allen. The play is based on the screenplay of the same name written by Allen and Douglas McGrath. The production currently wrapped up a special box office opening event this week and tickets to see the performance unfold live are now available. The official previews for the play will be held on March 11th, 2014 at the St. James Theatre. After this preview, the show will officially open on Broadway. This new play is expected to be one of the biggest productions of the 2014 Broadway season. Merle Haggard, at the age of 76, has spent decades performing around the country and with his latest album, Working in Tennessee, the performer has once again proven why he is one of the top acts in the world of country music. The singer will be heading out on a new tour that will start on December 6th. This tour will keep the singer on the road throughout the end of the year and after taking a quick break in January, he will pick up his tour once again, and stay on the road throughout the spring. Lady Gaga at Roseland and Rod Stewart Vegas and beyond

Earlier this week, iconic performer Lady Gaga, made a major upcoming concert announcement that has many fans excited for 2014. Shortly after performing on Saturday Night Live as both host and musical guest, the superstar revealed plans to perform at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom next year. The New York City native, will be taking the stage at the ballroom right before it officially closes its doors for good. The singer will be performing four concerts at the venue before it shuts its doors permanently on April 2nd. The concerts will be held March 28th and March 30th-31st. The Grammy award winning singer also has concerts planned for December and January of next year. During these performances at the Roseland Ballroom, audience members can expect to hear some of the performer’s biggest hits from her long and successful career as well as some of the new songs from her fifth studio album; “Artpop” a record that was released earlier this month. Lady Gaga Tickets for these final Roseland Ballroom shows will go on sale to the public on November 25th.

This week, there were several big announcements delivered to the music industry.. regarding upcoming tour events. However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the team behind The Experience Hendrix Tour. This exciting new tour event is scheduled to appear once again in 2014 and once again this tour looks to bring the excitement and the music of the late legendary performer Jimmy Hendrix, to fans from all over the country. The tour, which was originally the Jimi Hendrix Guitar Festival has transformed into a massive yearly event and this year, the official outing will begin on March 11th in Dallas, Texas. From there the tour will make several steps over a three week period, before wrapping up on April 3rd in Detroit, Michigan. During this outing, the tour will be making stops in some of the biggest markets across the country. During these shows, fans can expect to hear performances from some of the biggest rockers in the industry, all playing different Jimi Hendrix songs. The hit band, Arcade Fire, revealed this week that they have new plans in place for a 2014 tour event. The rockers will be heading out on the road in 2014 for a tour known as the Reflektor tour. The Indie Band revealed that their new tour event will officially be kicking off next year on March 6th. The tour will start in Louisville, KY before the tour makes several major stops across North America. The tour will keep the rockers on the road through the summer and will wrap up on August 30th, 2014 in Montreal Canada. This week, Patty Griffin made a major announcement revealing that they will be heading out on the road for a brand new concert event. The Grammy award winning singer revealed that she will be heading out on a new tour called the “American Kid” tour. This event will be visiting several college markets throughout the country. This new tour event will be kicking off next year and keeping Patty Griffin on the road throughout most of 2014. The singer will be beginning on January 23rd in Denton, Texas. During the tour event, fans can expect to hear some of the tours from her latest album “Silver Bell” as well as other new songs from the singer’s long career in the industry. Tickets are on sale now and all designed to be offered at $20 or less; making them affordable for college fans.

Another announcement came this week from the rock outfit the Brian Setzer Orchestra. The band goes out on an annual Christmas tour every year. This year, the group is celebrating their 10th annual run of their “Christmas Rocks” run. The ban recently announced their 10th anniversary holiday schedule and due to success with the tour, they have revealed that they will be adding 25 additional North American shows to their outing. This tour will be kicking off this week on Friday November 15th and with the new additions to the tour they will be staying out past the Christmas holiday and will be on the road throughout December 29th.
