Falcons Prove They Are Back Among The Elite

By David Jacobs | September 16th, 2014

The Atlanta Falcons were a mess in 2013. Thanks largely to injuries, the Falcons fell apart and took a free fall from being a potential Super Bowl contender to one of the worst teams in the league. Nonetheless, in week one this year, they proved that they are back in the elite of the NFL.

The Falcons were able to dispose of the Saints 37-34, taking advantage of a costly Marques Colston fumble in overtime to set up Matt Bryant for a game winning 52 yard field goal. This occurred just moments after Bryant nailed a 51 yard field goal to send the game to overtime.

Fans who paid an average price of $260 for Falcons tickets saw quite the opener to the season with quarterback Matt Ryan racking up 448 passing yards on the day, as well as three touchdowns, and the return of Julio Jones who accounted for seven catches and 116 yards. The running game was a bit underwhelming, but it was a good sign to see Steven Jackson contribute and not further bang up his body.

Patriots Tickets Preview For September

By David Jacobs | September 4th, 2014

Despite the fact that the Patriots lost several significant performers to injury last year on both sides of the ball, they still managed to rack up a 12-4 record and a spot in the AFC Championship game. Peyton manning and the Broncos ended up being too much for them, however, and their season ended at Sports Authority Field in Denver.

New England Patriots 2

This year, already the team has made some moves. Logan Mankins, the anchor of their offensive line for most of the last decade, was dealt to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for a draft pick and tight end Timothy Wright. With concerns that tight end Rob Gronkowski may not be ready for the beginning of the year, Wright should be able to plug in and provide some help. Many prognosticators are predicting a bit of a drop in production from the Patriots this year, predicated on the age of their primary players, such as Tom Brady, and the health of Gronkowski and others.

Nonetheless, the Patriots are the pinnacle of the AFC East and that is most recognizable in demand for New England Patriots tickets on the secondary market. Below, we’ll look at their September schedule and breakdown their ticket prices for each game.

Chicago Bears Season Is Here

By David Jacobs | September 3rd, 2014

2013 brought in a new era for the Chicago Bears with head coach Marc Trestman developing an innovative and exciting offense, headlined by quarterback Jay Cutler. With Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery on the outside, Martellus Bennett in the middle, and Matt Forte in the backfield, the Bears offense have weapons all over the gridiron.

With the offense expected to put up gaudy stats in 2014, it will be up to the defense to keep the opposing team from finding the end zone too much. That was not the case in 2013, as the Bears struggled getting off the field defensively and lost several games late in the fourth quarter due to failed defensive stops.

There’s certainly hope for improvement this year, however, and that has translated into big prices for Chicago Bears tickets on the secondary market. Here’s a preview brought to you by Coast to Coast Tickets.

Week 1 (Sep. 7th) VS. Buffalo Bills | Average Price: $449 | Get-in: $181

The Bears open up with an AFC East opponent, the first time the Bills have visited Chicago in eight years. With an average price of $49, this is one of the most expensive games of the NFL season, though still significantly cheaper than the next home game on the Bears schedule.

An Update On Denver Broncos Tickets In September

By David Jacobs | September 2nd, 2014

As we inch closer and closer towards the beginning of the NFL season, fans are eagerly buying their tickets to the opening games of the season. Expectations may not be higher for any team than the Denver Broncos. Peyton Manning has led a historic offense over the past two years, falling just short in the Super Bowl last year. Manning is still healthy and despite Wes Welker’s struggles to avoid concussions, the Broncos look primed for another successful season.

With those high expectations, fans have been scouring the secondary market for affordable Broncos tickets. With two straight 13-3 finishes, chances are fans who visit Sports Authority Field this year will get to see a victory – and will get to watch an historic offense destroy all competition. More of the same could be coming and Denver fans seem fine with paying to see it happen in 2014.

We chronicled the early season matchups a few weeks ago here on the Coast to Coast Tickets Blog and have provided a further update on ticket prices below. Ticket prices have decreased for the matchup in Seattle, but have increased for the two home games. Now may just be the best time to grab your tickets for Denver’s Week 1 and Week 2 home games.
