In the world of music entertainment, there has been a great deal of news in the past few days regarding big upcoming concert events showcasing multiple headlining artists. The news will have music fans reeling as they get the opportunity to see some of the biggest artists together on stage in once-in-a-lifetime concert events. One of the biggest announcements regarding these multi-artist concert came with the reveal of the lineup for the 2012 Z100 Jingle Ball. The annual concert event takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and typically features the biggest names in popular music coming together for a holiday concert event.
Tickets for the event will be going on sale this week and the headlining acts of this years concert for the Z100 concert will feature Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and the band One Direction. Tickets for the event are sure to sell out quickly, especially after the announcement of the big headlining acts, so those interested in taking advantage of the concert opportunity will want to act quickly. This news came along with the announcement that the Ultra Music Festival, typically held in Miami, Florida, would be adding a second weekend to the festival in honor of its 15th anniversary. Fans can see even more of their favorite acts live at the event.
Another concert festival event known as Stagecoach, also made their big announcement on their 2013 line. Acts will include Phil Vassar, Joe Nichols, Trace Atkins and more. The three-day festival, which takes place at the Empire Polo Club Grounds in Indio, announced the lineup earlier in the week. However, even with this big music news, there is no doubt that the hottest ticket in entertainment right now is the 2012 World Series. After the Detroit Tiger edged out the St. Louis Cardinals in an exciting round of play earlier in the week, rallying after the Cardinals had a 3-1 game lead in the series, the team is officially heading to the 2012 World Series.
In the first two games of the series, the Tigers will be heading to San Francisco where they will play the Giants in the opening games of the series. Baseball and sports fans will not want to miss this legendary event, which will kick off on October 24th. Do you have your tickets to the first round of the World Series yet?

To the extreme relief of basketball fans everywhere, the NBA has finally gotten past their disagreements and will be playing on Christmas Day.
And who are the teams to watch this year? The Miami Heat are looking good, with LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh showing real promise in this short season. The Dallas Mavericks are also a good bet, with an NBA title under their belts, although the recent loss of Tyson Chandler could prove a stumbling block. The Chicago Bulls are looking good, and will still be creating headlines with the NBA’s youngest ever MVP winner, Derrick Rose. The Oklahoma City Thunder, while one of the younger teams in the NBA, are promising a good offense this year. WIll it be enough? And the LA Lakers, one of the most celebrated teams in the NBA, has a new coach, which could mark a return to the winner’s circle.
The season this year is short, which means tickets may be tough to get for some games, but we’ll have access to the best seats long after they’re sold out. Don’t miss out on an historic season – check your schedule and get your basketball tickets now!

As time ticks away without an NBA season, the refusal of the players to meet owners’ demands continues. Today marked a key day in the discussions – one where David Stern offered 51% profits to the players, leaving the team owners with 49% to pay for – well – pretty much everything else from team management to a full staff of people hired to take care of the players. But it’s not enough.
Where does that leave the NBA now? Possibly nowhere for the 2011-2012 season, at least, and it’s a given that the lack of a season is going to have an effect on future sales. Given that the exorbitant player salaries wouldn’t be so exorbitant in the first place if the NBA weren’t so profitable, this seems like a self-defeating play that can’t end well.
Hockey’s looking better than ever.

Stories like this one and this one are cropping up around the internet on local websites regarding events that are being cancelled due to Hurricane Irene’s impending arrival on the East Coast. If you are a ticket holder to an event over the next week in the East Coast, be SURE to check your venue’s website to make sure the event is still going on before you head out! Even if the storm’s already passed, if there’s a chance it was in an area that sustained any damage, it’s still a good idea to check with your venue before making an evening of a concert or theater event.
(On that note, everyone stay safe and dry!)

It’s that time of year, when the bats start swinging and the bases start… well, the bases just sit, really. But it’s still a hot time when MLB gets underway! We’ve just updated our team pages with the previews for the year, and we’re as excited as anyone else to see who’s going to come out on top. Will the Anaheim Angels regain their dominion over the AL West? Will the Twins and the Tigers keep their hold on the AL Central? Will the Toronto Blue Jays keep being the team that no one even remembers is *in* the AL East?
So many questions, so many games, so many tickets!

Who’s hot, and who’s not? Well, if they’re hot, they’re at the top of the ticket sales list, and if they’re not… well… then they’re not. And this week, the number one spot among sports, concert and theater events combined is… Wicked! Really, no drum roll was needed there, since Wicked’s held that spot for a very long time now. (Have you seen it yet? If not, why not?)
Following up Wicked is another predictable name, Elton John, followed by Jimmy Buffett, Bob Seger and Celine Dion. Surprised? Shouldn’t be. But what about The Book of Mormon on Broadway? Or War Horse, another Broadway hit?
Well, no matter what’s on the top of your list (or whether it’s on anyone else’s top list), we’ve got the seats you’re looking for at Coast to Coast!
