Brad Paisley, Jonas Brothers and Steve Aoki

This week the music industry turned their eyes to country superstar Brad Paisley when the award winning performer revealed that he will be expanding his current tour event to head into Canada for additional tour stops. The performer is adding these performances to his current tour called the “Beat This Summer” tour. The multi-platinum selling country artist will begin these expanded tour events with two shows in Newfoundland this September. Here the performer will be kicking off the new leg of this Canadian run which will pick back up in Canada in Hamilton, Ontario on October 26th in Edmonton Alberta for a run that will keep the performer in Canada and performing until mid-November.

This new leg of the tour event will feature support from two opening acts, Lee Brice and Chris Young. This tour, much like the American leg will be promoting the performers latest recording effort, his new album Wheelhouse. In addition to these stops in Canada, Paisley will also be including new stops in Omaha and Saint Paul as part of this new of the tour. Tickets for the new leg of the tour are on sale now and available to the public.

In live concert news, country superstar Dierks Bentley made a major announcement this week about his annual music festival. The country star revealed that he will be hosting his eight annual Miles and Music for Kids event this year on November 3rd. Once again the event will be taking place in Nashville, Tennessee. All of the proceeds from the event will be going towards the Monroe Careel Jr. Children’s Hospital. During this live concert event, Dierks Bentley will be taking a break from his current tour with Miranda Lambert to perform for the charitable event along with acts such as Jake Owen and Easton Corbin. Tickets for the November event go on sale now to the public.  


While many are excited about this one time charity event concert, many in the music world have been gearing up for a major upcoming tour event from the Jonas Brothers. The trio has announced that they will be heading out on a new fall tour event that will bring the brothers back together on stage after a brief hiatus. The band has just revealed the dates for their first round of tour dates this fall. The band also revealed that for this tour, instead of coming up with their list of destinations that they are asking their fans to help them determine where they will tour. Now after weeks of voting the band has determined their stops for the months of October and November and plan to reveal even more stops as the voting continues.

Let’s Get Ready For Football

This weekend football fans were treated to the final games of the pre-season, as the league’s teams prepare for the official launch of the regular season this week. Tickets are now available for the regular season NFL games which will begin this Thursday, September 5th. The first game of the regular season will be taking place between the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos. This first game of the season will be taking place in Denver and will match up Peyton Manning and his team with last year’s Super Bowl champions. Both teams have made some major changes to their lineups and are expected to make it into the post-season this year, meaning this is one matchup that football fans will not want to miss. Tickets are still available for those who want to see these two top teams face off.


After Thursday night’s matchup, on Sunday afternoon the rest of the season will be officially launching and the rest of the teams will be playing and showcasing their talent. Some of the biggest match ups this Sunday include the New England Patriots against the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo, and the Seattle Seahawks against the Panthers. Fans can also see the Miami Dolphins face off against the Browns in Cleveland. Another big Sunday afternoon matchup will put the Bengals against the Chicago Bears in Chicago

Labor Day Entertainment Update

This week, the popular band, Toad the Wet Sprocket, made an announcement regarding their upcoming fall tour event. The band revealed that they would be hitting the road to promote their latest album called New Constellation. This is the group’s first album in the past 16 years, making this a major event for fans of the rockers. The group actually got the funding they needed for the album through their Kickstarter campaign, proving just how loyal and excited fans were for the group’s return to the stage. On this new tour event, the band will not only be playing some of the biggest songs from their decades in the business as well as some of their newest songs from their latest album. The tour is slated to kick off on September 18th and will include several stops in major markets into the United States until the tour wraps up in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 23rd. Tickets are on sale now for those who want to see the group perform live.

Let The Fall Fun Begin

This week, the music world was buzzing after one of the biggest acts of the past year, Lady Antebellum, made a major announcement about their upcoming tour plans. The country group revealed that they will be heading out on the road for another tour event. Their current Take Me Downtown Tour will be continuing on to 2014. The band announced their tour in July of 2013, but the band has just revealed that they will be expanding this massive tour event. The tour starts on November of 2013 and now the band has revealed that this tour event will be expanding into 2014. The second portion of the tour will be kicking off on January 9th in Charleston, West Virginia after the band takes a brief break around the holidays. The tour will then wrap up in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 27th. During this tour event, the band will be joined on stage with opening acts Kacey Musgraves and Kip Moore.

Big Fish The Musical, The Lumineers and The Charioy

This week, the rock outfit The Chariot announced that they will be heading out on their final tour as a group as the band announced their upcoming farewell tour. The ban made the decision to split up after more than ten years together, but first they will be heading out on a new touring event. The tour will be kicking off this fall on October 10th in Columbia, South Carolina. From there the band will head out for additional stops on their All’s Well That Ends Well Tour, before wrapping up the event in their home state of Georgia with a final performance in Atlanta on November 16th. Tickets are on sale now and available to the public, will you be getting in on the action for the band’s final performances?

In other live entertainment news, the Broadway world is being treated to a new treat this September with the upcoming release of the live production of “Big Fish.” This Broadway adaptation of the famed movie and film of the same name will be hitting theaters on September 6th. The book that this production is based off of was written by Daniel Wallace and the production will feature performances from Kate Baldwin and Sandra Bloom. The production will be playing at the Neil Simon Theatre. Tickets go on sale to the public now for those who want to see all of the action live.

This week the blues singer Bonnie Riatt made a major announcement about her upcoming tour plans. After heading out on a European tour this summer, the music icon has revealed that she will be heading out on a new leg of her tour as part of her “Slipstream” tour event. This new tour will take the singer into North America. The singer just performed a single ‘one-off’ event on Thursday August 22nd in Costa Mesa, California and now she is planning to head out on her official outing which will begin on October 3rd. The singer will be starting the tour in Paso Robles, California and from there the singer will head out for 26 additional stops around the United States as part of this new exciting tour event. During her tour, the singer will be hitting several major markets in an event that will keep her on the road throughout the month of December. Tickets to see the ten-time-Grammy Award winner go on sale this month to the public.

Coheed and Cambria, Keith Urban and More

This week, the rock group Coheed and Cambria made a major announcement revealing their upcoming plans for a new tour event. The rockers revealed that they will be heading out for a new tour event that will take them across North America. The new event will be in support of the band’s upcoming album called The Aftermath: Descension. This album was released on February 5th and during this tour event, fans will be able to hear some of the biggest tracks from this album. The band will be headlining in the new tour which is slated to kick off this fall and take the rockers to 17 different major markets. The tour will also feature opening acts from Composure, Artists Balance and I the Mighty. The tour is officially kicking off on October 16th and will end in Atlantic City on November 9th. Tickets officially went on sale this Friday to the public; will you be seeing the rockets take the stage live in this new tour event?

TGIF Concert News

This week, recording artist Sara Bareilles announced new information for her new headlining tour event. The artist will be heading out on the road to support her upcoming album called “The Blessed Unrest” which will be the singer and musicians third record. This will be the visit to the Radio City Music Hall in New York City where she will be performing during this latest jaunt during the tour. The singer will be visiting several major markets including Philadelphia, St. Louis, Boston and Athens, Ohio. The tour will officially kick off on October 6th. Fans who want to see the singer and pianist perform live will want to make sure that they act fast when getting their tickets to the event as the singer’s latest tour, called the “Brave Enough Tour” sold out in just three minutes.

Country Update

This week there were two major announcements regarding the tours of some of today’s biggest country bands. One of the first big announcements of the week came from the standout country group, The Band Perry. The country rockers just revealed some new plans for a global tour event to support their latest hit album Pioneer. As part of this concert announcement the band revealed that they will be heading to Europe for the first time. The band will be making several European stops, in a concert event that will kick off on November 8th in Gotenborg, Sweden. The band will stay in Europe throughout December 5th, and will conclude their tour in the United Kingdom in the city of Balfast. Other stops include stops in Norway, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, and France. From there, the band will head back overseas to the United States on January 9th when the band will continue to tour in North America. This tour will kick off in Penticton, British Colombia, for the North American portion and then they will travel throughout Canada and the United States until the end of March. Tickets for these exciting concert events will go on sale to the public now.
