This week there were several big announcements regarding the upcoming 2014 tour and live performance schedule. One of the most talked about shows of 2014 will undoubtedly be the Mrs. Carter Show tour featuring Beyoncé. The singer has just announced the official dates for her 2014 tour event, including some newly added shows. While fans of the singer have already been anticipating shows slated until March, the 17-time Grammy Award winner has announced several new shows for 2014, including an additional 16 shows in Europe. Tickets are now available for these newly added concert dates.

Another big concert event for 2014 will be the upcoming slew of tour stops from rapper 2 Chainz. The rap superstar just announced last month that he will be heading out on his own new tour event starting on February 4th, 2014 at the House of Blues in Boston. The rapper will be joined on stage by Pusha T and will visit a total of 21 cities including New York, Las Vegas, Miami and Chicago. The tour will feature the rapper performing some of his biggest hits including new singles from his second record called B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time.” Tickets are available now.

Taking Back Sunday and Beyonce

This week it was revealed that the pop-punk alternative rockers that make up the band Taking Back Sunday will be heading out on a highly anticipated fall tour event of the United States. This new outing will be promoting the band’s summer time record “TAYF10 Acoustic” an acoustic version of their popular record “Tell All Your Friends” as the band celebrates the 10th anniversary of this wildly popular album. Before heading out on the road the band will be playing four different September shows, including two back to back shows in Sayreville, Connecticut where they will be performing the album “Tell All Your Friends” in its entirety.

After these special engagement performances, the band will be heading out on a brand new tour, that will be kicking off on October 11th in Clifton Park, New York. During this new trek, the rockers will be visiting clubs, theaters and other venues in 22 different major markets. The concert event will be wrapping up on November 7th in Long Island, New York. The band is currently working on their sixth studio album and during the tour fans can expect to hear some samplings of the new record. Tickets are on sale this week for the new concert event.

This week, one of the biggest concert tour events of the year was announced when the hit rock band MGMT made a major announcement about their upcoming tour dates. The rockers revealed that they would be heading out on a new tour event that would take them to several major markets in both the UK and around Europe. This tour event will kick of in Cologne, Germany on September 26th and from there the band will visit 11 different countries during their tour across Europe. This tour will follow their current American summer concert tour. The band has also revealed that they will be making another stateside stop before heading overseas and that on September 6th the group will be performing in Denver, Colorado. The new concert tour event will be promoting their latest album, which is currently untitled. Those who want to see the band perform live will be able to get their tickets to this event now.

The entertainment world was hit with two very big announcements from two of the biggest pop icons in the business today, when both Beyonce and Britney Spears made major concert appearance announcements this week. The first big concert announcement came from Britney Spears who revealed that after her successful stint on the hit television show ‘The X Factor’ that she will be heading to Las Vegas for a new residency stay. The news was confirmed by Britney Spears’ manage Larry Rudolf, who revealed that the pop icon would be joining the likes of Cher and Celine Dion in a long-term Las Vegas show. The show will feature nightly performances and will be held at one of the two Caesar’s casinos. Specific ticket information is expected to be released later in the month, where fans can figure out when they will be able to get tickets to the nightly concert event.
