This week one of the most legendary performers of all time, Sir Paul McCartney announced that he would be adding new shows to his 2013 “Out There” tour. The announcement came as a surprise to music fans and to the many who have been looking forward to see the performer and former Beatle take the stage live. Among the new performances that Paul McCartney has added are shows at the Amway Center in Florida for May 18th, a show in Tennessee at the Fedex Forum on May 26th, a performance at Fenway Parkin Massachusetts on July 9th and more. All of these shows will provide fans with greater opportunities to see Paul McCartney in a rare live tour performance event. Tickets for the newly added shows and for the rest of the dates on the performer’s worldwide tour are on sale and available to the public now. Those who want to see Paul McCartney perform live will not want to miss out on this opportunity to see him take the stage in person.

While it may seem hard for music fans to get more excited than they have been about the recent Paul McCartney, another big music announcement was released this week when Jay Z announced the official line up for his 2013 Made in America Festival. Music fans have been waiting anxiously to hear the official announcement from the rapper about who would appear in the festival and who would be taking the stage for the event This week, the performing artist and mogul released the official line up for the Philadelphia based festival which will have more than 30 different artists taking the stage.

The headliners for the event will be Beyoncé and Nine Inch Nails. Other big performers to take the stage at the music festival will be Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Queens of the Stone Age, Phoenix, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and more. The event is expected to be one of the biggest of the year and to pull in major crowds. The concert event will be held in Philadelphia on Labor Day weekend, August 31st through September 1st. The entertainment world was hit with two very big announcements from two of the biggest pop icons in the business today, when both Beyonce and Britney Spears made major concert appearance announcements this week. The first big concert announcement came from Britney Spears who revealed that after her successful stint on the hit television show ‘The X Factor’ that she will be heading to Las Vegas for a new residency stay. The news was confirmed by Britney Spears’ manage Larry Rudolf, who revealed that the pop icon would be joining the likes of Cher and Celine Dion in a long-term Las Vegas show. The show will feature nightly performances and will be held at one of the two Caesar’s casinos. Specific ticket information is expected to be released later in the month, where fans can figure out when they will be able to get tickets to the nightly concert event.

In addition to this big pop music announcement, multi-talented performer Beyonce also revealed her own music concert news. Hot off of her 2013 Super Bowl half time performance; the pop star revealed that she will be heading on the road for the first time since giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The performer announced that the tour, deemed the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, will be kicking off on April 15th, 2013. The concert will begin in Belgrade, Serbia and will take the pop icon to numerous European cities for the remainder of the spring. Beginning on June 28th, Beyonce will be heading to the United States and to the Staples Center in Los Angeles to complete the United States leg of the tour. The US portion of the tour will last through August 3rd where the performer will give her final tour performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
