This week it was revealed that several big name rockers would be hitting the road for new live music events that are sure to have rockers of all types on the edges of their seat. First, new concert tour events were added to the current co-headlining rock tour that features 3 Doors Down and Daughtry. The bands are currently on the road performing a successful run of concerts, and due to popular demand, they will be extending their tour to include even more shows. The concert began in 2012 and after a small break the bands will be back on the road beginning on July 5th. With several new dates added to the show fans will have even more opportunities to see this band perform live. Tickets for the newly added shows are now available to the public.

In other news, the rock band Furthur, which features former Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, has announced a new fall tour around the country. After completing an April residency the band will head out on the road on May 9th and wrap up the show in October at the Greek Theatre in LA tickets for the concert tour event are on sale now.

Finally, one of the biggest rock announcements of the week came from the group the Black Crowes. The veteran rockers will be joining fellow rock group Tedeschi Trucks for a new concert tour event. The bands will come together to co-headline a new summer tour that will also feature opening act The London Souls. The Black Crowes will come straight off of their own headlining tour to join this “Summer Tour of Outdoor Venues” as the name suggests, the band will only be visiting outdoor concert venues with a trek that will begin July 19th in Nashville TN. The tour will keep the band on the road throughout the rest of the summer, wrapping up on August 15th. Tickets are on sale now for this tour. Will you be getting yours to see these bands play live?

This week it was revealed that famed performer David Byrne and singer and songwriter St. Vincent would be heading out on the road to support their new collaborative album. The new album, titled “Love the Giant” will take the two performers to some of the biggest venues across the country, and to concert venues in the United States, Canada and Europe. Tickets are on sale now and available to the public.

As the hit rock band Emblem3 currently tours around the country in their latest tour trek, which has completely sold out in venues around the country, the rock group has revealed that they will be adding more touring dates for their fans.  The band will be taking the road after finishing up their handful of East Cost shows this month in a new tour event known as the “Goin’ Back 2 Cali Tour.” This massive tour will take “The X Factor” breakout stars on a large jaunt around the country beginning in April in New York City and ending in California. The band developed a massive following on their ‘X Factor’ appearance and many fans from all over the country, which can be seen in their latest set of concert appearances, so tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Tickets to the concert go on sale this month and fans will want to act fast.

While many are anticipating seeing The X Factor stars take the road in their first ever tour, there is also a big first time act taking place in California, in the Napa Valley area. This year will mark the inaugural show for the BottleRock Festival. The first annual BottleRock Festival will take place over four days and features a two mile walkable area along the Nappa River so that fans will not only be able to experience some of the best live music in the country but the beautiful area of the country and wine from 40 different wineries from the area. The festival will features more than 60 acts including big name bands such as The Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir. Those in charge of the event are expecting more than 35,000 fans a day so those looking to get passes to see the event unfold will want to make sure that they act quickly before they sell out.
