Summer Concert Announcements

This week there were several announcements about upcoming concert tour plans from today’s most celebrated recording artists. One of the week’s biggest announcements came from seasoned recording artist Jack White. The rocker and former member of The White Strips officially launched his latest tour, which will take him around the country to some of the biggest major markets in the United States. According to the announcement from the rocker, the new tour will be promoting his latest album “Lazaretto” which was released earlier in the month of June. This is the rocker’s second solo album. Tickets went on sale this week for shows, including shows in Jacksonville, FL on September 20h, Miami Beach, FL on September 21-22 and a show in Columbia, SC on September 24th.

Another major announcement this week came from pop store, Lorde. The singer is currently touring around North America this summer, supporting her platinum-selling album “Pure Heroine.” The singer just announced that she will be adding a second night performance at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California, after selling out her first night at the venue. Happy Father’s Day Entertainment Update

This week, country superstar Brad Paisley announced that he is shifting some of the dates on his upcoming North American tour. The outing, called the “Moonshine in the Trunk” show has the singer touring around the continent to some of the biggest venues in North America. The singer was scheduled to play three shows in Ontario during the tour in mid-October. However, due to scheduling conflicts, the singer has now pushed these shows back to mid-November. Tickets purchased for the October shows will still be honored in November and new tickets for the shows go on sale this week. The new show dates are November 13 (rescheduled from October 15th), November 14 (rescheduled from October 16th) and November 15 (rescheduled from October 18th).

However, the biggest announcement this week came from two of the biggest rap artists in the industry. Drake and Lil Wayne have been tied to a rumored feud for years. However, the two award-winning rappers have been an end to these rumors with their new co-headlining tour announcement. The two performers have teamed up for a massive summer/fall tour that will take the two performers across the continent to some of the biggest venues in North America. In addition to visiting major markets in the United States such as Atlanta, Dallas, Tampa and more, the two performers will be visiting plenty of venues in Drakes’ home country in Canada.

Pearl Jam Tour Info Plus More

This week there were several major tour announcements, starting with a major reveal from hit rockers Pearl Jam. The seasoned rock veterans revealed that following a summertime European tour, that they will be visiting the United States for a new outing. The Seattle-based rockers will kick off their new tour starting in mid-June in Europe. After a month across the pond,they will head to the United States to kick off the US leg of their tour on October 1st. The tour will officially kick-off in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 1st. Currently the US itinerary for the event includes 10 different stops. No word has been released regarding any additional stops along the tour. This itinerary features two headlining weekend performances at the Austin City Limits Festival. The outing will wrap up on October 22nd in Denver, Colorado.

During this tour, fans can expect to hear hit singles from the band’s latest album “Lightning Bolt,” their 10th studio effort. Concert goers can also, of course, expect to hear some of the group’s biggest hits from their decades in the industry, all performed live on stage. Tickets are on sale now for this new tour.

This week, singer Brad Paisley announced that he has added another leg to his current tour schedule. His current winter tour will quickly change names to the “Beat This Summer Tour” as he transitions into the new season. The Grammy winner is currently touring throughout the south, on this outing, with plans to wrap up the tour on March 4th with an appearance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Paisley also has plans to kick off a new summer jaunt on June 13th. Paisley has just announced another leg of the tour, and now the singer will be on the road throughout the summer before wrapping up the tour on September 20th. Paisley is known for selling out some of the largest arenas in the country during his outing and is once again expected to sell out some major markets as he tours. Some of the major stops along his North American jaunt will include stops in Milwaukee, Dallas, Charlotte, Phoenix and more. Tickets are on sale now for many of the shows on this jaunt.

Winter Country News

This week, tickets officially went on sale for one of the most anticipated upcoming tours of winter season. This is because award winning country super star Brad Paisley officially launched the sale for the tickets of his next major North American tour. As his current Beat This Summer tour comes to a close, the performer is ready to kick off his new tour, called the Beat This Winter Tour. The new tour event will feature 13 different shows and now tickets are on sale to see this event live. The tour is slated to start on January 9th and the tour will officially kick off with a major performance in Greenville, South Carolina. During this tour, performer Chris Young and Danielle Bradbery will all be joining the performer on stage. The tour is slated to close on March 1st with a final performance in Charleston, West Virginia. Tickets are on sale now for those who want to see Brad Paisley take the stage live in this new tour event.

November Entertainment News

This week, Patty Griffin made a major announcement revealing that they will be heading out on the road for a brand new concert event. The Grammy award winning singer revealed that she will be heading out on a new tour called the “American Kid” tour. This event will be visiting several college markets throughout the country. This new tour event will be kicking off next year and keeping Patty Griffin on the road throughout most of 2014. The singer will be beginning on January 23rd in Denton, Texas. During the tour event, fans can expect to hear some of the tours from her latest album “Silver Bell” as well as other new songs from the singer’s long career in the industry. Tickets are on sale now and all designed to be offered at $20 or less; making them affordable for college fans.

Another announcement came this week from the rock outfit the Brian Setzer Orchestra. The band goes out on an annual Christmas tour every year. This year, the group is celebrating their 10th annual run of their “Christmas Rocks” run. The ban recently announced their 10th anniversary holiday schedule and due to success with the tour, they have revealed that they will be adding 25 additional North American shows to their outing. This tour will be kicking off this week on Friday November 15th and with the new additions to the tour they will be staying out past the Christmas holiday and will be on the road throughout December 29th. This week the music industry turned their eyes to country superstar Brad Paisley when the award winning performer revealed that he will be expanding his current tour event to head into Canada for additional tour stops. The performer is adding these performances to his current tour called the “Beat This Summer” tour. The multi-platinum selling country artist will begin these expanded tour events with two shows in Newfoundland this September. Here the performer will be kicking off the new leg of this Canadian run which will pick back up in Canada in Hamilton, Ontario on October 26th in Edmonton Alberta for a run that will keep the performer in Canada and performing until mid-November.

This new leg of the tour event will feature support from two opening acts, Lee Brice and Chris Young. This tour, much like the American leg will be promoting the performers latest recording effort, his new album Wheelhouse. In addition to these stops in Canada, Paisley will also be including new stops in Omaha and Saint Paul as part of this new of the tour. Concert News Update

This week the team behind the Austin City Limits Festival made a major announcement about their upcoming event. The event organizers revealed that they would be back for a 2013 tour and that this year’s event would be held over a two week period. The event will take place October 4th-5th and October 11th-13th. This will be the first year that the festival will expand over a two week period. Artists on deck to perform at the event include Muse, Lionel Richie, Depeche Mode and more. Tickets go on sale later this month for those who are looking to see all of the action live.

In other music news, former Hole front-woman Courtney Love revealed that she will be heading out on a number of solo club theater shows. The shows will be taking place in venues across the East Coast this summer. This week when Love revealed the details of the upcoming event she announced that the tour would be kicking off with a June 20th performance in Philadelphia. During the outing, the singer will also be playing six more shows along the coast. The event will end with a June 29th show in Huntington, NY. March Tour Updates

This week, tour dates for some of the biggest concert events from some of the biggest rockers in the industry were revealed, having many music fans excited for the summer concert tour season. The first big announcement came from country superstar Brad Paisley. The multi-talented performer announced the official dates for the first leg of his “Beat This Summer Tour.” The tour will take Paisley across the country and to 28 different cities throughout the summer. The tour begins on May 9th in St. Louis, Missouri and the concert will be promoting the singers upcoming new album, Wheelhouse. Ticket will go on sale this month for these concert events.

Meanwhile, iconic rock group Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have revealed a new nationwide tour that will bring the band to numerous intimate theaters and festivals throughout the late spring and into the summer. The nationwide tour will pull the band away from recording their latest record to perform some of the biggest hits and newest recordings for fans across the United States. The concert will kick off on May 16th in Evansville, IN and tickets are on sale now.
