Legends of Summer tour & The Heartbreaker Tour

This week, the band Heart also announced a new tour event. The rock duo revealed that they will be hitting the road for a new 2013 tour called the Heartbreaker Tour. The Wilson sisters will also be joined on stage by Jason Bonham during the event, the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. Together the two acts will be performing a thirty minute tribute to Led Zeppelin at the end of every concert. The tour is slated to kick off on June 17th with the tour beginning in West Palm Beach, Florida. There will be more than 30 stops along the tour until it wraps up in Ridgefield, WA. Select concert dates are on sale now and tickets for the Los Angeles show and other stops along the tour go on sale May 10th.

While many have been talking about the upcoming Heart tour; there is no denying that most eyes in the music world have been on Justin Timberlake, as he made a major announcement this week about his upcoming tour. After revealing that he would be giving fans a glimpse at his latest musical creations when he heads out on his 2013 Legends of Summer tour with Jay Z, Timberlake had another announcement up his sleeve for fans. This week, the singer revealed that after the 12 city Legends of Summer tour ends that he will be heading out on his own headlining tour on the 20/20 Experience Tour.

This will be the first headlining trek for Timberlake in six years and during the tour he will be visiting some of the biggest venues in the entire world. The singer revealed information on the first round of tour dates for the event this week, indicating that the tour would be kicking off on October 31st in Montreal. So far, the tour will include 23 different stops in North America that will keep the performer on the road throughout February of 2014. According to the team behind the tour, more dates including information on international stops on the tour will be released this month.

This week iconic performer, Jimmy Buffett and his band, the Coral Reefer Band, announced that he would be officially adding additional stops on the 2013 tour around the United States. The 2013 tour, which kicks off this spring, will now keep the performer on the road for most of the summer of 2013. Tickets for the tour dates, including the recently added dates are on sale to the public now.

While many will be turning to the old favorite, Jimmy Buffet in order to get tickets to see him perform live after decades in the industry, those who are looking for something new in terms of live entertainment will be treated to a special entertainment spectacular this week. The live musical ‘Your Hardbody Handbook” starts its premiers this week in New York City. This new American musical, inspired by real events is based on the 1997 documentary of the same name; making it one of the first musical Broadway productions to be based on a documentary. From the creative minds behind Memphis and Jersey Boys comes this new production that takes a look at modern American life and features hit musical selections from acclaimed recording artist Trey Anastasio from Phish. This production promises to be unlike any other in the work of live theatre. Previews start February 23rd and tickets are on sale for the production now.

Mars revealed the information this week on his appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and announced that the new tour will be heading out around the globe. The singer will kick off the tour in North America this summer and stay out on the road while visiting cities like Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami during the summer. After the North American leg of the tour wraps up, the singer will be hitting the road for the European leg of the tour that will keep him overseas for weeks. While on tour, the talented performer will be joined by pop sensation Ellie Goulding. Tickets for the event go on sale next week and will be available to the public at that time.
