Many have been anxiously awaiting the upcoming United States version of the hit live musical Matilda. The musical rendition of this famed children’s book and family movie has already found a great deal of success in London and a new Broadway production is slated to appear in the United States in 2013. While the buzz surrounding Matilda the Musical has been high, there has been very little casting news until this week when it was revealed the Oliver Award winner Lesli Margherita would be joining Gabriel Ebert, Lauren Ward and Karen Alridge in the leading roles of this musical. It was also revealed that the production is officially set to open on March 4th of 2013 and that it will premiere at the Shubert Theatre on Broadway.
