Recent concert tour news has revealed that some of the biggest concerts in the history of music are slated to take place this summer. Last week, tickets officially went on sale for Beyonce’s 2013 tour titled The Mrs. Carter Show. However, due to the overwhelming early success of these concert ticket sales, the performer has revealed that she will be adding two additional dates to her concert, including an additional date at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and a second concert performance in Washington DC. Tickets for the second concert will go into pre-sale on February 13th with tickets being offered to the general public on Friday February 15th.

Tickets are also currently on sale for the new summer tour being launched by legendary singer Tim McGraw. The Grammy Award winning artist has announced a new tour to promote his 2013 record, “Two Lanes of Freedom.” The new tour will keep the performer on the road for much of the summer, beginning on May 2nd in Birmingham, Alabama.  The tour will continue on through the end of July with the final performance slated for July 27th, 2013 in Virginia Beach, VA. Tickets go on sale now and are currently available to the public. However, those who are looking to get tickets will want to act fast, as Tim McGraw’s 2012 tour was the highest grossing tour in country music history; meaning tickets for his latest venture are likely to sell fast.

Finally, one of the biggest concert tour announcements for this upcoming summer came from three different iconic boy bands; New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. As three of the biggest acts of the 1990s and early 2000s; the groups decided to come together for what will be known as “The Package Tour.” The tour will kick off on May 31st and will take the groups on a 28 city tour that is slated to run through mid-July. Tickets are now officially on sale for the 2013 event. Will you be getting tickets to see these three groups perform together live?
