Performer Ryan Adams, just announced he is preparing to release a new album, titled “Gimmie Something Good,” later this year. The record, which will be released on September 9th and to promote the new effort, the singer will be embarking on a new fall tour. During this outing, the singer will visit several major markets including the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee on October 14th, marking his first visit to the city since 2007. Other stops along the way include concerts in Portland, Boulder, Burlington, Chicago and St. Louis. Tickets for these shows are on sale now and available to the public. During this outing, Adams will be visiting several intimate venues to give fans the opportunity to see the singer in an up close and personal tour event. The tour officially kicks off on July 22nd and wraps up on October 20th.

Old Rockers Still Doing It.

Paul McCartney has just announced that he will be canceling the Asian leg of his current tour, after struggling with a viral infection. However, the singer is not quite ready to return to the stage. After taking advice from his doctor, the former Beatle has announced that he will be delaying the start of his US tour and postponing the first seven shows in this leg of his event. The singer was originally scheduled to kick off his US tour on June 14th with a performance in Lubbock, Texas and visit six other cities that month. However, this southern leg of the tour has officially been rescheduled and will now take place in October.

The Paul McCartney tour will now officially begin on July 5th in Albany, New York and the singer will be visiting 11 major markets before taking a rest starting on August 14th when he wraps up his show in San Francisco, California. The new concerts will begin on October 2nd in Lubbock, Texas and will keep the singer on the road through October 28th. This week, there were several big concert tour announcements to delight fans of all types of music. This week, Paul McCartney made another announcement about his highly successful “Out There” tour. The former Beatle revealed an additional stop for his current tour and will be adding a final performance at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park. The singer has already sold out all of his shows, in major markets and has recently added stops in Missoula, MT on August 5th, Los Angeles on August 10th and Phoenix on August 12th. Tickets for these shows are on sale now. Tickets are also on sale for the Candlestick Park show which is being called the “Farewell to Candlestick: The Final Concert.” The show and last stop on McCartney’s US tour will be the final show before its demolition. This is also the place where the Beatles performed their final full concert together in 1966. Tickets are on sale now but expected to sell out fast.

Paul McCartney And Austin City Limits Festival Update

This week, Paul McCartney revealed that he would be rescheduling the Chilean show for his international “Out There” outing. The legendary singer moved his show, back after the plane carrying his equipment was delayed. After news of this delayed show was revealed McCartney also announced that after the South American portion of his tour wraps up early next month that he will be heading to Asia and eventually North America. McCartney has added six additional concerts to his calendar starting with a show on July 9th in Chicago, IL. The singer will then stay on the road until wrapping up his outing on August 14th in San Francisco, California. During the tour McCartney will be promoting his latest studio album, called “New” which was released last October. Tickets are on sale now for the remaining stops along the singer’s massive global outing.

This week the Minnesota Twins baseball team made the official announcement for their new Target Field concert. While many expected Billy Joel to take on the role of lead performer for the concert, fans were pleasantly surprised when it was revealed that Paul McCartney would be performing at the concert. Ed Sheeran also made a major announcement last week, revealing that he will be heading out on a new North American arena tour. This tour outing will start on August 22nd in Seattle, Washington. The group revealed that t hey will be kicking off their latest tour called the “Jamalot Ever After Tour.” This event will kick off at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon on July 2nd. The tour will include 47 stops throughout the United States and Canada. The duo, who was just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will be joined on stage by an eight piece band, who they have toured with before in the past. During this tour event, the band will be visiting some of the biggest major markets in the country including San Diego, Nashville and Boston. JT and Sir Paul Summer Tours

With the summer concert tour season coming ahead, there have been several announcements regarding the plans for upcoming tours. One of the big announcements of the week came from singer and performer Justin Timberlake. The platinum selling pop artist revealed that he will be expanding his current highly successful tour as he widens his “20/20 Experience” outing. After months on the road, the singer has revealed the addition of an Australian leg of the tour along with another round of arena stops throughout the United States. When Timberlake made the announcement he revealed he would be adding six sops throughout Australia, as well as an additional 14 tour stops in North America. The new leg starts on November 20th with a show in Portland, Oregon. From there, Timberlake will continue on and finish the rest of the tour, staying on the road until his final tour stop in Duluth, Georgia. With ticketing announcements for the 2013 music festival season in full swing, many music fans have been anxiously awaiting news about their favorite music festivals. Fortunately for fans, this week marked the reveal of the 2013 Firefly Festival concert lineup. This is the second annual Firefly Festival and the show hopes to follow in the footsteps of its wildly successful first year. The festival, which takes place at the Woodlands of the Dover International Speedway is scheduled to take place from June 21-23rd. The festival is slated to have acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Foster the People and More.
