This week, the popular DJ Skrillex, announced new plans for an upcoming tour event. The performer is not only planning to “takeover” several places in the coming months such as San Francisco and Brooklyn, but he is also announcing plans for a new tour road trip. The performer has just released his latest album; a successful effort called “Recess” and is going on tour this month to promote the album. The new tour is called the Mothership Tour and it will take Skrillex around the country to several big stops including New York, Toronto and Miami. According to the announcement the tour plans on offering fans with a chance to hear some of the performer’s biggest hits as well as his new offerings in a fun party type atmosphere that is sure to impress Tickets for the event go on sale this week to the public.

Phish Tour and More

This week, the legendary rock group Phish revealed new plans for an upcoming tour. The Vermont band has just revealed that they will be performing a four night run in New York City’s Madison Square Garden to celebrate New Year’s Eve this year. This special four night concert event will help ring in 2014. These newly announced tour dates will be added to the bands seven remaining tour stops that they have on their current tour event. Currently the band is on the road promoting their latest album, and still has stops in Hampton, VA, Atlantic City, NJ and more. The four night concert event will start on December 28th in New York City at the Madison Square Garden Arena and will wrap up on December 31st. Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 12th to see the band perform live.

Avenge Sevenfold and Phish

This week, some major tour announcements were unveiled from some of today’s most popular rock bands, revealing that the upcoming fall 2014 tour season will be jam packed with must see shows. One of the big announcements of the week came from the heavy metal band Avenge Sevenfold, the band revealed this week that they will be heading out on the road for a new fall headlining tour that will take them to some of the biggest markets in the United States. The tour will officially kick off on October 3rd in Chicago, Illinois. From there the band will make 15 stops to major venues across the country in support of the new tour.

 This new tour will be promoting the band’s latest hit record “All Hail the King” which will be their sixth studio effort. While on tour, fans can expect to hear both new recordings and some of their older biggest hits performed live, the band will be playing a number of their newly recorded singles for audiences at this tour, giving them a peek of the new album which will also come out this August. The tour will also be called the ‘All Hail the King’ tour. Tickets to see the band take the stage live in this new event go on sale to the public on August 2nd.

This week it was revealed that the hit band Phish would be taking the road in a new live tour event. The wildly popular jam band has been part of the music scene for years and is often hailed as one of the most popular bands to see live in concert. Much to the delight of fans from all over the country, the Vermont-based rockers will be heading out on a tour that will start this summer. The 2013 Phish summer tour event will features several multiple-night stays in venues such as Commerce City, Colorado, Saratoga Springs and San Francisco. The band will be performing three nights in a row during these three spots. Although the band is making a handful of several night residencies, fans should still get their tickets early as this group is known for selling out some of the biggest arenas in the country fast night after night. Tickets for the 2013 Phish summer tour are on sale and available to the public now.
