Brad Paisley and Tori Amos update

This week, singer Brad Paisley announced that he has added another leg to his current tour schedule. His current winter tour will quickly change names to the “Beat This Summer Tour” as he transitions into the new season. The Grammy winner is currently touring throughout the south, on this outing, with plans to wrap up the tour on March 4th with an appearance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Paisley also has plans to kick off a new summer jaunt on June 13th. Paisley has just announced another leg of the tour, and now the singer will be on the road throughout the summer before wrapping up the tour on September 20th. Paisley is known for selling out some of the largest arenas in the country during his outing and is once again expected to sell out some major markets as he tours. Some of the major stops along his North American jaunt will include stops in Milwaukee, Dallas, Charlotte, Phoenix and more. Tickets are on sale now for many of the shows on this jaunt.

This week, there were several big announcements in store for music fans. The first, came from the hit band NEEDTOBREATH. The band revealed that they will be taking the road for the first time in years to promote their upcoming album release. The group’s new album called “Rivers in the Wasteland,” will officially be released in April 2014, with the tour kicking off on May 1st. This outing will start in Springfield, Missouri and will keep the band on the road throughout the end of June. The band will be promoting their first new album since 2011 and will be playing several hit songs from this latest effort. Tickets are on sale now and available to fans of the band looking to see the group takes the stage live.

However, one of the big announcements of the week came regarding the wildly popular music festival, Bonnaroo. The team behind this concert event revealed plans for their 2014 lineup and fans are reeling with excitement about the planned performers who will be taking the stage this year. The full lineup for the festival includes headlining performances from Jack White, Lionel Richie, Kanye West and Elton John. Other performers include the Avett Brothers, Skrillex, the Flaming Lips, Kaskade, Phoenix, Wiz Khalifa and more. This year, the festival will be held from June 12th through June 15th at the Manchester, Tennessee Great Stage Park.

This week, just after the rapper and hip hop super star Drake, released his latest album, the performer also revealed that he will be changing the date for his upcoming tour. On Tuesday, the rapper released his third album “Nothing Was the Same.” This highly anticipated tour, known as the “Would You Like a Tour?” tour has kept fans waiting in anticipation as they wait to hear some of his latest songs from the new hit record, performed live. According to the performer, the rehearsal schedule and some of the technical aspects of the show are the cause for the delay. The pushed back tour will now start on October 18th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The tour was supposed to keep the performer on the road through the end of November, but will now keep the rapper on the road through December. 16th.

Sir Paul and 2013 Made in America Festival.

This week one of the most legendary performers of all time, Sir Paul McCartney announced that he would be adding new shows to his 2013 “Out There” tour. The announcement came as a surprise to music fans and to the many who have been looking forward to see the performer and former Beatle take the stage live. Among the new performances that Paul McCartney has added are shows at the Amway Center in Florida for May 18th, a show in Tennessee at the Fedex Forum on May 26th, a performance at Fenway Parkin Massachusetts on July 9th and more. All of these shows will provide fans with greater opportunities to see Paul McCartney in a rare live tour performance event. Tickets for the newly added shows and for the rest of the dates on the performer’s worldwide tour are on sale and available to the public now. Those who want to see Paul McCartney perform live will not want to miss out on this opportunity to see him take the stage in person.
