This week the K-pop band Block B revealed plans for a new upcoming tour. The band announced that they will be making their official US debut this year with three US tour dates along the East Coast. The independent band will make their three tour stops this June starting at the NYCB Theater at Westbury in New York on June 22nd. The group will then visit the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. on June 24th. Finally they will wrap up their mini outing in Miami Beach, FL on June 27th. The band is hoping that they can help spread the K-pop movement during their tour outing. Tickets are on sale now and available to the public.

This week, the World Cup also announced the plans for their closing anthem performances. The upcoming tournament, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will feature several big performances. The governing body of the tournament has already revealed that Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez will open the tournament with the official World Cup song “We Are One,” however, now the tournament has revealed their plans for a big closing ceremony concert. This concert will include performances from Avicii, Carlos Santana, Wyclef and Alexandre Pires, a Brazillian Latin Grammy Winner. The singers will be performing the closing anthem “We Will Find a Way,” during this concert. Tickets are on sale now for all of the ceremony and concert excitement.

Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney Tours

This week two of the biggest rock legends in the history of the music business made announcements regarding upcoming performances, and music fans of all types are reeling about these upcoming performances. One of the first and biggest announcements of the week came from rocker and former Beatle, Paul McCartney. The music legend announced this week that he will be playing a one time show this summer for fans. Sir Paul McCartney will be taking the stage at Boston’s famed Fenway Park to play a concert on July 9th. Tickets for this rare opportunity to see the performer take the stage live are expected to sell out fast for this one-time-only show in Boston. Tickets for the July concert event go on sale this Friday morning, April 5th at 10:00 AM.’

The other big rock music announcement of the week came from rockers The Rolling Stones. The veteran rock group announced to the public this week that they would be heading out on the road for a new North American tour across the country. This rare touring event for the band has already had fans from all over the country reeling as many have been waiting to see the group take the stage once again. This latest summer tour will be short and feature stops in only nine different cities. During these stops fans of the group can expect to hear some o the biggest hits from the band’s last few decades in the business as well as some of their latest recordings performed live.

BCS National Championship Game, Rolling Stones and More

With the new year fast approaching, for college football fans it means its time for college bowl season. Most importantly, it means the BCS National Championship game. Ticket sales were officially announced this week when it was decided that undefeated Notre Dame would play against the number two team in the country; the Alabama Crimson Tide. From the moment tickets were announced this week, tickets have already been in high demand and started selling quickly. Those who are still looking for tickets to the January 7th national championship will want to act fact as these tickets are already on track to sell out quickly, for this annual college football event.

While football fans were treated to this big announcement this week; rock and music fans received an even bigger announcement this week when the iconic rock band, The Rolling Stones announced that they would be joined on stage by Gary Clark Jr. and Mary J. Blige for their December 8th concert. This fast approaching concert, taking place this weekend will be held at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. The new announcement came as a surprise to fans who were already anticipating this huge event.
