This week, several of the biggest names in rock music made announcements about their upcoming summer plans. The first big announcement came from Lyle Lovett, who revealed that he would be heading back on the road for a new concert tour this summer. The tour will be taking the rocker to several venues throughout North America in a new tour that will promote last year’s album “Release Me.” The tour kicked off this week in Austin, Texas and will keep the performer on the road throughout most of 2013. Tickets to see Lovett take the stage live are now available.
Another veteran southern rocker, Hank Williams Jr. made an announcement of his own this week when he revealed that he will be touring around the Eastern half of the United States in a new summer tour effort. This tour will be promoting Williams’s latest studio album, “Old School, New Rules.” The Grammy-winning singer revealed that the tour will be kicking off in Morton, MN on June 8th. During the trek across the US, Williams will be making 18 different stops in different venues across the country. Tickets are on sale now.
