Firefly Music Festival. Tim McGraw and more

This week, music fans of all types have been excited to hear about some of the big concert events that will be hitting the country once summer kicks off. One of the big announcements of the week came regarding the Firefly Music Festival. This year, the annual festival will be taking place June 19th through June 22nd at the Woodlands of the Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware. According to the team behind the event, the lineup includes Outkast, Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Weezer, Tegan and Sara and more, all performing live. There are also a number of other bands and performers that will be taking the stage during this event. Tickets are on sale now for those who want to see the festival take place.

In other concert news, the country icon Tim McGraw announced new plans for an exciting tour event this week. The Grammy Award winning country singer revealed that he will be heading out on the road for a new 2014 tour. The singer, who just released his latest single this week “Lookin’ For That Girl” will be treating fans to some of his new recording performed live as well as some of the biggest hits the singer has had during his long and successful career in the music business.

This week, there were several big announcements delivered to the music industry.. regarding upcoming tour events. However, one of the biggest announcements of the week came from the team behind The Experience Hendrix Tour. This exciting new tour event is scheduled to appear once again in 2014 and once again this tour looks to bring the excitement and the music of the late legendary performer Jimmy Hendrix, to fans from all over the country. The tour, which was originally the Jimi Hendrix Guitar Festival has transformed into a massive yearly event and this year, the official outing will begin on March 11th in Dallas, Texas. From there the tour will make several steps over a three week period, before wrapping up on April 3rd in Detroit, Michigan. During this outing, the tour will be making stops in some of the biggest markets across the country. During these shows, fans can expect to hear performances from some of the biggest rockers in the industry, all playing different Jimi Hendrix songs. Performers for this year’s tour include Bootsy Collins, Buddy Guy, Zakk Wyld and more. Tickets are on sale now for those who want to see this iconic tribute to Jimi Hendrix performed live.

Beyonce, Tim McGraw and NKOB

Recent concert tour news has revealed that some of the biggest concerts in the history of music are slated to take place this summer. Last week, tickets officially went on sale for Beyonce’s 2013 tour titled The Mrs. Carter Show. However, due to the overwhelming early success of these concert ticket sales, the performer has revealed that she will be adding two additional dates to her concert, including an additional date at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and a second concert performance in Washington DC. Tickets for the second concert will go into pre-sale on February 13th with tickets being offered to the general public on Friday February 15th.

Tickets are also currently on sale for the new summer tour being launched by legendary singer Tim McGraw. The Grammy Award winning artist has announced a new tour to promote his 2013 record, “Two Lanes of Freedom.” The new tour will keep the performer on the road for much of the summer, beginning on May 2nd in Birmingham, Alabama.  The tour will continue on through the end of July with the final performance slated for July 27th, 2013 in Virginia Beach, VA. Tickets go on sale now and are currently available to the public. However, those who are looking to get tickets will want to act fast, as Tim McGraw’s 2012 tour was the highest grossing tour in country music history; meaning tickets for his latest venture are likely to sell fast.
